Each night at Ft. Wilderness, Chip and Dale get together with their friends (that’s you!) for a Campfire Sing Along followed by a Disney movie. It is an absolutely FREE event that you can attend rather you are staying at Ft. Wilderness or not. The Campfire Sing Along currently begins at 7:30 pm each night. Be sure to call the front desk of Ft. Wilderness to verify the start time when your vacation begins as times are subject to change.
The program begins with a sing-along led by a Disney cast member along. There are campfires set up along the perimeter of the area where you can roast either your own personal items or you can purchase smores supplies at the Chuckwagon Snack Bar (they also sell the roasting sticks if you forgot to bring your own) located beside the campsite.
Before and during the sing-along, Chip and Dale play, interact and sing along with guests. They are so funny to watch. When we went, they were drawing pictures in the dirt and playing freeze tag.
Following the sing-along is a FREE showing of a Disney movie that changes every night.
The Campground is located beside the Meadow Trading Post at Ft. Wilderness. If you are not staying at the Ft. Wilderness, you will need to take your resort transportation to a theme park of your choice. Once you disembark at the theme park, board the transportation to Ft. Wilderness. Once you arrive at Ft. Wilderness, take the internal bus to to the Meadow Trading Post. Tip: There is a boat from Magic Kingdom to Ft. Wilderness. This is our choice of transportation as it makes the Campfire Sing-Along all that more special. There is also a bus that runs from Wilderness Lodge to Ft. Wilderness.
