When you are choosing where you want to dine at Disney World, you might want to check out the long-time-running Walt Disney World dinner show Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue located at Ft. Wilderness campground. While you watch the Pioneer Hall Players perform skits and early song standards, you are treated to fried chicken, BBQ ribs, seasoned veggies, baked beans, corn bread and strawberry shortcake. Yummy!
There are 3 nightly shows at 4, 6:15 and 8:30 pm through out the year. Tickets range in prices from $64 – $72 for adults and $38 – $43 for children 3-9. You can use the dining plan, but this show does require 2 table service credits per person.
Make sure you arrive 30-45 minutes before your showtime. In order to get to this show, you will need to either take a bus from your resort to a theme park and transfer to a bus (or boat if you are at the Magic Kingdom) to travel to Ft. Wilderness or you can drive your car to the Ft. Wilderness campground. If you do choose to drive, you will have to take internal transportation once you arrive at Ft. Wilderness as there is no parking at Pioneer Hall.

My husband and I both had very fond memories of the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue from when our families took us as children. We went to Disney the year before we had our daughter (our last big trip as just a married couple!) and made reservations for the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Revue. My husband kept talking about how they come up behind you and slam the containers of chicken on the table, I hadn’t the foggiest idea what he was talking about, until it happened…and I looked over at him and he was GLOWING…BEAMING EAR TO EAR. The food was delicious. We had a small part in the show, when they were finding out where people were from. Turns out, one of the actors lived in our town growing up, so he was all excited to come up and meet us. I highly recommend!

Summer of 2007, we took my mom to Disney for the 1st time, we had dinner there and sat right in front the stage. Food was wonderful, she loved every moment, the dancing and singing was magical . She was smiling most of that nite. I would definitely recommend this dinner show.. YOu wont be disapointed !

My mom and I ate there several years ago. We had the best time! Since it was just the two of us, we were sat at a table right next to the stage. At first I thought it would be terrible and we would be leaning our head way back to see lol. We ended up enjoying it completely! NO NECK PAIN LOL

We had a great time at the Hoop-De-Doo Musical Review a few years ago. I remember the food being good and the entertainment was fun (very interactive with the audience). The only downside is that it was absolutely freezing in there (we went in the summer time-July). The air conditioning was blasting for the entertainers, so instead of turning it down they were handing out table cloths (yes, table cloths-kinda strange) to everyone in the audience. I hope they have changed that since we have been there. I hope you have fun if you decide to go there.
