On our last day we always start with breakfast at the bakery. There are so many yummy things here! The breakfast croissant is very good (I’ve eaten many, and never gotten a soggy one), hubs loves the yogurt parfait, and then we usually get something sweet and sinful to split among everyone…you can’t go wrong with the enormous cinnamon bun but last time we had a crumb cake with cream cheese…oh so good! The best thing I ever at here was warm banana bread pudding with vanilla sauce. It must be seasonal, because I don’t see it there often, but I wish they had it there year round.
We never eat inside the bakery, but take our tray around the corner and eat at the yellow tables outside the ice cream shop. The people watching on Main Street USA is amazing! And if you time it right, you have great seating to see Main Street Singers on the trolley, or the Move It, Shake It, Celebrate It! Parade. It’s a great, easy way to start off a day at MK!
Our experience here was ok. The cinnamon roll was really good. My hubby got a breakfast sandwich that was bleh – soggy croissant and nuked eggs. Less than I expected from Disney. And the fruit cup was MOLDY! They replaced it right away, but in the future we might only stop here for a snack. Like one of those ice cream sandwiches!
I also love the apple turnovers from Main Street Bakery. Very good value and soooooo YUMMY!
My favorite thing from here are their chocolate chip cookie ice cream sandwiches. They may actually be my favorite WDW snack. They take two HUGE chocolate chip cookies and then put TWO scoops of vanilla ice cream in between them. They make it right in front of your eyes. It is delicious! And it is really so big it’s almost impossible for one person to finish it (though I must confess I have finished one off by myself). That means it would be easy to save money by sharing it!
Love that cookie sandwich!
This is a great place to grab breakfast! In fact, if you don’t have reservations somewhere else, it’s almost the ONLY place to grab breakfast at MK! And the food is delicious! Definitely worth a stop!
I love it!
