Coming up this fall are some of Walt Disney World’s most exciting and anticipated holiday events. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Both events require a separate special event admission ticket. There are some wonderful advantages to being in the park for these special events. You can participate in the unique activities planned to take place during the event times or you can enjoy little to no wait times on most of your favorite Magic Kingdom rides.
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is held on select dates in September and October. Guests of all ages are encouraged to dress up in their favorite Halloween costumes and collect candy as you trick-or-treat around Magic Kingdom Park. The tone of the event is actually not so scary, and is appropriate for children of all ages.

Mickey’s “Boo-to-You” Halloween Parade – including Disney Characters and the stars of the Haunted Mansion attraction. The parade begins with a spook-tacular ride by the Headless Horseman.

Does this mean the park is closed to others on those days or do you have to purchase a ticket to BOTH the party AND the regular admission for those days??? We are thinking of going to WDW in late November or early December, and I’m unclear on this. Thanks!
