I am almost ashamed to admit this rookie bus mistake I made. With over 10 visits under my belt to Disney World, I thought I was an expert. However, on my arrival day I made a rookie bus mistake.
Since my first day was a no park ticket day, I decided to head to Disney Springs. I happily got in line and hopped on the first bus that came.
When the bus pulled into Typhoon Lagoon, I was very confused! Another woman and I locked eyes and realized we had made the same mistake – we didn’t read the busses destination and assumed the bus would go to BOTH Typhoon Lagoon and Disney Springs. She got off the bus, upset and yelling at the bus driver. I asked the bus driver where he was going next and if I could stay on.
So I rode the empty bus to Disney’s Boardwalk, I had actually never been so it turned out OK for me!
I explored the Boardwalk for a bit and then rode the bus from the Resort to Disney Springs, my original destination only a couple hours later than anticipated. All I could do was laugh at myself.
Lesson learned, if the bus stop has 2 locations posted, be sure to read the digital sign on side or front of bus to know where it is heading!
Thanks, Sara

I have noticed this, but have never made the mistake. Good tip!
