Today we are exploring the question, Do you cut the fabric tag off your Disney Ears?
The answer to this question seems to be a divided one. Some guests asked the Cast Member to cut the fabric tags (and price tag) off as soon as they are bought. Other guests have said that they bring sewing scissors in their suitcase to cut off when they get back to their Resort room.
Other guests prefer to keep the official Disney tags on. In this case, a trick for the tags not to be seen while wearing the Ears is to fold them under the band. Simply fold twice and tuck the tags under the band! Others use a few stiches to hold it in place, with a small sewing kit.
One thing to consider is the resale value if you ever want to downgrade your collection, buyers prefer (and will pay more for) Ears with the Official Disney tags. However, if you plan to keep your Ears forever, then there is no harm in cutting the tags!
Personally, I am a fan of leaving my tags attached and tucking them under the band while wearing. What is your preference on cutting the tags or not?!

The tags this year are huge and on virtually everything. We didn’t cut them off either, just found convenient ways to hide them.
YES! I always cut the tag, it’s a pet peeve of mine!
I love this post, so much fun, thank you!
