Brandy is Couponing to MNSSHP (Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party)

I have always wanted to go to Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party! I have told myself 100 reasons why I couldn’t go during this season of life. Like most, I have children in school. I don’t want to take them out of school for more then a few days mid semester. Then there was always the idea of taking a long weekend and going. As a family of 6 we are always looking for ways to save. The longer you stay at Disney the cheaper it is per day. For that reason I really frowned upon doing the long weekend idea. Then I thought well me and my husband could just go. But I just can’t bring myself to not take my kids to such a fun experience. I had come to the conclusion, I would just not be able to experience it for another 15 or so years when my youngest is in college.

Then true Disney magic happened! I help Kristin with Lularoe as well as Swagbucks. She asked me if I would be able to come to her house and work while she was away in October. This school year we have also decided to home school my 14 year old as well! My husband will be starting school in the fall. He will not be able to keep Chloe on track with her school work, do his school work and take care of the boys for 9 days while I am away. We decided it was best for Chloe to come with me.

In case you didn’t know Kristin lives only 30 minutes from Disney World. That means that I CAN go to MNSSHP and take one of my children with me without dealing with her missing school or mommy guilt. I wouldn’t have to worry about the huge cost of a hotel room or food. Since I will be staying at Kristin’s house. My grandma has decided she wants to go on a central Florida vacation while I am there. Who wouldn’t want to go on an almost free vacation! Kristin is so sweet and said she didn’t mind if my grandma came as well. My grandma will be renting a car. That means I don’t need an Uber or Taxi to take me to Disney.

I feel like I am dreaming! This all seems to good to be true. I am going to be able to go to MNSSHP for only the cost of the tickets, whatever food I buy and souvenirs. This has all come together really last minute! I have 6 weeks until I leave for Kristin’s. I can’t coupon my way for the whole cost. There just isn’t enough time for that. But I can coupon my way to the party tickets! You all know, I am going to try like everything to earn enough to pay for the whole thing.

Below is a breakdown of my expected expenses. My budget is very high. I would rather have extra money budgeted then not enough. I am not counting Chloe’s plane ticket as part of the budget, because I would of needed the plane ticket either way. My grandma will be paying for her own expenses.

MNSSHP tickets for 2 adults (Chloe is 13) – $232.18
Food – $100.00
Souvenirs – $50.00
Parking – $25.00
Total: $407.18
