Now that the Park Hopper Option has returned to Walt Disney World, there are some things guests visiting in 2021 should know! While this option is back for guests, some things about Park Hopper are different. Below are six frequently asked questions about Park Hopping in 2021 that Disney World guests will want to know!
1. Who can Park Hop?
All guests that have purchased an Annual Pass or ticket with Park Hopper, will be able to visit more than 1 park per day, with some modifications.
2. Do I need a reservation to Park Hop?
A reservation is not needed to park hop, however a Disney Park Pass reservation is needed for your 1st park of the day and this reservation must be fulfilled (by entering the park), prior to visiting another park. A park reservation will not be needed after your first park, this is subject to change.
3. What time can I Park Hop?
Guests may Park Hop starting at 2pm daily and until park closing time. There is no limit on how many times you can park hop after 2pm.
4. What transportation is available?
Park to park busses for Disney Resort guests have resumed. Also, Disney Skyliner is transporting guests to EPCOT and Hollywood Studios. At this time the monorail service between Transportation & Ticket Center and EPCOT remains closed.
5. How do I check park capacity prior to Park Hopping?
Park Hopping capacity for Walt Disney World can be checked by calling 407-560-5000. Additionally, guests should receive a push notification in real-time via My Disney Experience App is a park reaches capacity ( be sure to have the latest update of My Disney Experience App).
6. Can I join Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance after 2pm?
No, since you cannot enter your 2nd park until after 2pm, guests will not be able to join the virtual queue for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance if Hollywood Studios unless it is your first park of the day. Distribution times for virtual queue enrollment for Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance are currently 7 a.m. and 1 p.m.
