I started following your blog about 1 year ago. I had been couponing for about 3 years and had finally gotten a good flow going. I started to consign my children’s clothes, garage sale items we didn’t need or put a free ad in the paper, signed up for about 3 really good survey companies (per your recommendation of course), and submitting even more rebates than before, because of your website and all the wonderful information for these items.
In the 3 years prior to discovering your site, I would just deposit the money in our checking account to never see it again. When I started separating the money from surveys, sales, and rebates I managed from July of 2011 – March of 2012 to save a little over $800.00 dollars. We were able to book a 7 night 8 day cruise in March and while I didn’t have enough money from couponing to pay for the cruise, I was able to buy plane tickets, book a hotel for one night before cruise, rent a car for travel between airport/hotel/port terminal, parking, some vacation clothes, and even enough left for spending money.
If if wasn’t for all you have taught me in the last year I would just be a regular couponer who was just saving a little on groceries. With your knowledge and site I have now cut my grocery budget to where it should have been years ago, will be going on a Disney Cruise and will continue to follow your site because without you and all you do, my family wouldn’t have been able to enjoy a real stress free vacation on the new Disney Fantasy Cruise Ship. I can say with Kristin and her site Couponing to Disney, my family is better for it. So thank you and all you do.

Great story Jessica! Yours is similar to mine and I can relate. Especially the part about just being a regular couponer saving little.
