At the First Aid in Disney Parks, you can visit with a nurse who can dispense over-the-counter medications, bandages and other quick remedies to get you back to your vacation quickly. If you take a medication that needs refrigeration, First Aid can store it for you during your visit. They also offer disposal of hypodermic needles.
If you find that you aren’t feeling well in the park and can not make it to the First Aid location, let the nearest Cast Member know and First Aid will come to you. You can also dial 911 from any phone and you will be patched through to Disney paramedics.
First Aid locations in the parks:
- Magic Kingdom – Next to The Crystal Palace restaurant on Main Street.
- Epcot – In the Odyssey Centre near the exit to Mexico.
- Animal Kingdom – Behind Creature Comforts on Discovery Island.
- Hollywood Studios – Near Guest Services on Hollywood Boulevard (near the entrance to the park).
- Typhoon Lagoon – Behind Leaning Palms.
- Blizzard Beach – Located between Lottawatta Lodge and Beach Haus.

My experience was a little different. A few years ago I when to the First Aid at the Studios for a rash that was a round my waist. I was told it was poison ivy, even though that wasn’t possible. Luckily, we were returning home the next day. I happen to have an appointment at my own doctor the following day where I learned that I had Shingles. He said I should have been told to go to the hospital right away.
Not only that, my 48 year old husband came down with Chicken Pox 28 days later.
Hopefully, this isn’t the norm!
Wow! Glad you were ok.
We were at Disneyland and our daughter wasn’t feeling well. We called the front desk who patched us through to a 1st Aid RN so we could ask a question. To our surprise the nurse showed up at our hotel room, fixed our problem and even gave us a fast pass to my daughters favorite ride since we had to leave the park early. Talk about Disney Magic!!
That’s awesome!
Cannot say enough about the First Aid station in MK. On one trip my husband ended up with the stomach bug on our last day in the parks. The staff at First Aid were wonderful and provided much peace of mind. He got to nap in a nice, air-conditioned space, and I was able to take the kids to make the most for one last hour before having to leave early, which was a really depressing thought!
When I was a kid, my dad had a heart event at the Magic Kingdom. I went and told the nearest cast member and they had an ambulance there in just a minute to help him. We spent the afternoon at the First Aid station with him while they monitored him and decided that he needed to go to the hospital. They were wonderful and took great care of my brother and me when my dad couldn’t!
Ohhhhhhh…..we have visited the first aid station next to Crystal Palace…it seems that if you’re 6 and skip/run across the wooden bridge on the way to the bathrooms in that vicinity, you MIGHT stump your toe and trip. Therefore, skinning up your knee/knees..I don’t know. It just happens! Also, if you rub sunscreen in your eyes (accidentally), the first aid station at Universal can help with that too…just saying sometimes we are accident prone. The nurses are sooooo great and make those boo boos better.
