Boma – Located at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Lodge in Jambo House you will enjoy a feast on a delicious all-you-care-to-enjoy buffet featuring culinary delights from more than 50 African countries. Some of the savory delights include a large selections of soups and stews that rotate between 13 different soups/stews. Our favorites are the Cape Malay lamb stew and the coconut-chicken-curry soup. You will also enjoy numerous salads such as the watermelon rind salad, spinach and quinoa salad and the avocado, grapefruit and papaya salad. For your main course you will feast on offerings such as pap and chakalaka, roasted salmon, slow-roasted pork ribs, bobotie, spiced sweet potatoes, couscous and zulu cabbage. For the smaller visitors or for the less adventurous there are sea nuggets, chicken bites, mac and cheese and mealie dogs. To finish off your experience you will want to sample the guava panna cotta, bread pudding and zebra domes for dessert.
Ohana – Located at Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort you will definitely want to savor the flavor and fun with this family style meal! Your feast will start with a pineapple-coconut bread and mixed salad with a Lilikoi dressing. After you have got your fill of your salad you will enjoy pork dumplings in a garlic-ginger sauce and some of the best honey-coriander chicken wings for your appetizer. Once you are satisfied with your appetizer you will move on to your entree which are skewers of sweet-n-sour chicken, Szechuan sirloin steak and spicy peel-n-eat shrimp all grilled on an oak fire. With your skewers you will also receive noodles tossed with fresh vegetables and stir-fried vegetables. For your sweet tooth you are in for a wonderful delight with one of the best bread puddings around, the ‘Ohana bread pudding a la mode with bananas-caramel sauce.
Cape May Cafe – Stroll on over to Disney’s Beach Club Resort for a seafood feast! Your taste buds will be delighted with offerings such as seafood chowder, fruit salad, various salads, chilled peel-n-eat shrimp, hand-carved strip loin, chicken, crab legs, paella, marinated salmon, fried clam strips, fried calamari, fried shrimp, and steamed mussels and clams as well as all the fixings to go with this feast. For the smaller visitors there is macaroni and cheese, fried cod nuggets, cheese pizza and chicken drumsticks. For your sweet tooth there are assorted pastry desserts from the Yacht and Beach Bakery.
Wave – Take a walk over from Magic Kingdom to Disney’s Contemporary Resort for a delightful dinner at The Wave….of American Flavors. This unique dinner offers American inspired meals with an emphasis on locally and regionally gathered ingredients. For your dinner enjoyment you will feast on things such as seasonal soups, lump crab and Florida rock shrimp cakes, roasted Cornish hen, seared potato gnocchi, seared sea scallops, pan-seared fish, grilled beef tenderloin and grilled pork chops. For your accompaniments you can choose from offerings such as roasted fingerling potatoes, balsamic Brussels sprouts, sweet potato puree or garlic-green beans. For the smaller diners you can choose from offerings such as grilled fish of the day, baked chicken strips, grilled cheese, cheeseburger or cheese pizza. Make sure to save room for a delectable dessert such as creme brulee, the American flavors flight, season flight or the chocolate flight.
Rose and Crown – Located in Epcot’s World Showcase in the United Kingdom this family-friendly pub showcases traditional favorites with incredible flavors, wonderful water-front dining and evening entertainment. When you dine at Rose and Crown you can enjoy British favorites such as Scotch egg, English meat pies, some of the best fish and chips, bangers and mash, vegetable cottage pie, shepherd’s pie, grilled New York Strip Steak and fried fish (my husband’s says this is one of the best steaks on property) or corn beef and cabbage. For your sides you can choose from a loaded Yorkshire pudding, mushy peas or our favorite bubble and squeak. For the smaller visitors they can choose from offerings such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, steak and chips or turkey meatballs. For your sweet tooth you can delight in a warm fruit crumble, Banoffee tart, English trifle, chiffon cake, Jaffa tarts or sticky toffee pudding.
