My preferred way to save for Disney is with gift cards. Disney Gift Cards can be used to pay towards your Disney World Resort and many more locations. Learn why Disney Gift Cards and 15 locations to use them. My savings plan includes purchasing Disney Gifts at a discount.
Did you know if you have a Target Redcard Debit (or credit), you get 5% off everyday purchases. Including, Disney Gift Cards! Therefore, the change above will be turned into a Disney Gift card, and thereafter for every $25 I have until Resort is paid for. The savings of 5% may not sound like a lot, however any additional tricks to save are for me!
Using my Redcard to buy Disney Gift Cards is a savings of $50 per every $1,000 spent, so for my estimate of a $3,000 Resort stay I will save $150. That is $150 LESS I have to save up for.
This week I also cashed out for a $5 Starbucks Gift Card through Fetch Rewards, my oldest daughter loves visiting Starbucks while at Disney. Plus, added change to my fund. This includes 2 – $1 coins, I figured these would be fun for my kids to spend at Disney!
