There is a new “Frozen Fun” experience located at Disney California Adventure Park that will run for a limited time (no end date announced). The new experience will include the “For The First Time in Forever – A Frozen Sing-Along Celebration” located in the Muppet*Vision 3D theater and it will include special appearances by Anna, Elsa and Kristoff. This sing-along retells the unique history of Arendelle.
Stage 17 in Hollywood Land is now hosting a snow play area where guests can glide down a snow slide, build a snowman, and visit with Olaf. Guests will be entertained by musical performances by The Frolicking Fjords and The Tubadors.
Shoppers will be delighted with the new Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post where you will find hundreds of various Frozen merchandise. Be sure to set a spending limit for the kids before you enter!
You can now meet Anna and Elsa inside the Disney Animation attraction in their own royal greeting area complete with scenes from the movie. While there, be sure to learn how to draw Olaf or Marshmallow from a Disney artist. Ask a Cast Member at the entrance to the Animation building where to go for the “Do You Want To Draw a Snowman” class.
At night, you can experience the “Freeze the Night! A Family Dance Party” where you can chill out with the family. There are some pretty cool photo spots, yummy treats and frosty beverages and some awesome jams to get your groove on!
And if you go over into Disneyland Park, you can visit The Royal Thatre for a tale of Frozen story that includes appearances by Anna, Elsa and the Faire Maidens. Be sure to check the Times Guide for showtimes.
The Storybook Land Canal Boats in Fantasyland now include a replica of the fjord-side village of Arendelle, including the stately castle where Anna and Elsa grew up, Wandering Oaken’s Trading Post, and Elsa’s mountaintop ice palace.
Next, you can head over to Downtown Disney where you can have fun at the Olaf’s Frozen Ice Rink (this runs through February 22, 2015).
And make sure to visit the Anna & Elsa’s Boutique where boys and girls ages 3 to 15 can be made over into their favorite character for $34.95 (reservations highly recommended).
Add this to Cars Land and it makes Disneyland a lot more appealing than Walt Disney World to us right now!
