So glad you got to go one more time before they close next month. The houses are so neat. I’m really hoping they move them some place else, even if it’s another park overseas, instead of just getting rid of them entirely.
I agree with everyone else Toontown will be greatly missed!!! But, we all know that something bigger and better is in store for us. Plus, it gives us another excuse to go again. (Like we need one!!) My children loved Toontown and I have lots of pictures of my daughter in Minnie’s house. I loved looking at the Christmas decorations in the houses. My daughter loved looking at your pictures too. She kept saying, “I’ve been there!!”
I LOVE Mickey and Minnie’s Homes!!! I will never forget taking my daughter! We talked about going to Mickey and Minnie’s house a lot before our trip. When we finally got there we took a picture of her at their mailboxes and said “See you made it to Mickey’s House” !!!
That’s great that you guys get to see Toon Town one last time. I’m sad to see it go. I hope they bring something somewhat like it back after the renovations.
Toontown is my all time favorite. I loved these houses as a kid and still love to go in with them with MY kids :0) I love Mickey’s garden and the large Mickey shaped pumpkins!!
Fantastic! I’m sad my youngest won’t get to see Toontown the way I remember it. But Disney wanted things to be constantly changing – so change it shall!
We love toontown too. My kids loved the houses, especially at Christmas, I was so glad we get to see it one more time (and I’m so upset they are closing). Looks like you guys are having a wonderful, fun time :)
It’s so great that they still have holiday decorations up! So you get to enjoy the holiday feeling of the parks, but yet still enjoy some of the lowest crowd of the year…the best of both worlds! But I think I know you well enough the say that your timing is the result of meticulous planning, not just some happy accident! :)
The first time I took my husband to Disneyland he fell in love with toontown. I had a harder time keeping track of him than I did my kids. He was so cute!
These house are my 4 yr old favorite…she could spend hrs in them…the only thing is she always tries to get beyond the “do not enter” area in the Mickey house. LOL.
We love toon town. My kids loved to see the stockings hung at Mickey’s house. They were excited to see that Mickey got Minnie a pink cell phone!! LOL!! and I have now bought my kids a pink tree for the loft to celebrate Christmas. :-)
Barnstormer was my 4 year old’s favorite ride last year! The house looks cute with the Christmas decorations up… I have to make it a goal to make it to Disney during the Christmas Season!! :)
I cannot believe how truly bummed I am that Toontown will not be open when we go in February. Between the Playhouse Disney show shut and this, I think it’s poor timing for toddlers :(
I know that there is so much more for little ones, but when my older guys were little, Toontown was a calmer, quieter area to escape to while some of the busier attractions were overwhelming.
I am glad yours got to visit one last time though :)
Ahhh the houses look so adorable with all the christmas decorations! Disney really does go all out for the holidays! Thanks for posting the pics as my son was having a somewhat grumpy morning today and seeing the disney pics really cheered him up!
Love your website and the idea of using your savings to fund Family Adventures is GREAT!! Just want to pass along that January is Disney Month at AAA and members get special discounts and bonus items when booking a Disney Vacation with AAA! Just another way to stretch the savings!
I will miss Toontown so much. I amreally excited to see the changes but Toontown will always hold a special place in our hearts. We took soooo many photos on our last trip. I was so happy it was still there one more time.
Those houses are so fun! I think my daughter played in Minnie’s kitchen for 30 minutes last time. Still haven’t ridden the Barnstormer…little one was too nervous both times since she’s been big enough :)
Ill miss Toontown too! :(

So what did Mickey and Minnie get for Christmas? I hope my present arrived!
Oh my goodness, the mantle decked out with Christmas decorations and stockings is too cute!
One of my girls favorites, the houses!
My kids loved getting to walk through Mickey and Minnie’s house, it was really neat for me too :0)

You know every year we said we were going and we never got there :(

My son is 3 and he loved the Barnstormer. He rode it over and over again!! He kept saying that Goofy was crazy!!
Awesome! I love Minnie’s house. Especially the kitchen!
We’re really going to miss Toontown when its gone! So glad you guys got to visit!
So glad we got to see their houses in Toontown one more time on our last trip.

Thanks for sharing your pics of Toontown. We have never really done Toontown as my son was a bit old on our first trip to Disney.
LOVE Toonstown. It is so whimsical and exciting for the little ones. The brainstormer was my daughter’s 1st roller coaster. So much fun.
These house are my 4 yr old favorite…she could spend hrs in them…the only thing is she always tries to get beyond the “do not enter” area in the Mickey house. LOL.
I wonder how long they will keep the christmas decorations up?
Oh how cool there’s stockings up!!
I am sad they are closing toon town!
I have the exact same photo of my nephew looking in the fridge, I love how much they like it!
I am truly a whimp. Barnstormer is about as much of a roller coaster as I can take. LOL!
We love toon town. My kids loved to see the stockings hung at Mickey’s house. They were excited to see that Mickey got Minnie a pink cell phone!! LOL!! and I have now bought my kids a pink tree for the loft to celebrate Christmas. :-)
So neat that they decorate Mickey & Minnie’s houses for Christmas too.
SOOOO sad it’s closing before we make it to Toontown in September :( Glad you all got to enjoy it one more time!
My kids loved Mickey and Minnie’s houses !!!! So much fun!!!!!
We had our picture taken in front of Mickey’s Christmas tree. It makes me so happy!

I was at WDW one time for Christmas, but never realized they decorated the insides of Mickey and Minnie’s houses! Neat!
Love the houses! The Barnstormer is a great ride for the whole family!
