You’ve heard me talk about my friends Missy & Tammy from Feeding God’s People. They have taken the time to create an AMAZING Coupon Savings Tracker for 2012.
This tracker will help you figure out how much you have spent and saved with coupons throughout 2012. It will also help you figure out how much of your grocery budget is left for you to deposit in your fund! All you have to enter is your budget amount, the amount you spent and the dollar amount of coupons you used. It does everything else for you!
Download your Coupon Savings Tracker.
The tracker is an Excel spreadsheet. If you do not have Microsoft Office, you can download Open Office for FREE! Instructions on how to use the Coupon Savings Tracker is in the spreadsheet.
(The use of this spreadsheet is intended for Feeding God’s People readers only. I have exclusive permission from Missy and Tammy to offer it to Couponing to Disney readers. You are welcome to link Feeding God’s People‘s post if you would like to share it with others.)
What a great tool! Thank you. I think this will go a long way in showing my hubby the time I spend doing this is sooooo worth it:)
I am not able to download this. It is saying the file is open or in use ?
Ugh, I use to know how to use a spreadsheet…..it says its in read only. I had to download the open office…..please help….
I love this, I am hoping it helps me stay on track and aim to have money left over in my budget. I was wondering where you would put an additional for example, my grocery store was running a program, if you spent 30.00 on P&G products you get to send away for a 10.00 gift card so I bought items totaling 31.99 and I had 12.00 in coupons for them, so I paid 19.99 but getting a 10.00 gc by mail. Do I not add it in and add it when I receive and redeem the gift card for something….just wondering what you would do. I tend to save these GCs until Christmas time
I love this! I’m obsessed with Excel and spreadsheets, and I love when someone shares a new one! (Yeah, I’m kind of a dork) :-P
Just what I’ve been looking for! Thanks so much. I started couponing in May of last year and I got so caught up in a good deal that I sometimes ended up spending more than I normally would have. This year, I’m going to set and stick to a budget! Sounds like a resolution to me even though I didn’t actually set one! Thank you Kristin for all you do! Love this site!
I couldn’t find the instructions for using on the spreadsheet. Could Missy do an example for us to see? She’s still my favorite EC person from the show! Thanks!
The instructions are on the very first page :)
Thank you so much for this!!!
This looks fun!! Thank you so much, ladies!
what do you take into consideration on the discount column? I want to try to do this this year…can you go into more detail how you would do this column bu column? Never kept track of my savings before so I want to do it right! Thanks
Money spent is the total amount you gave the cashier (including tax).
Discounts are the store sales. For example – BOGO at Publix: Tomatoes are $1.99 BOGO… so the discount would be $1.99… and I had a $.40/2 coupon – so that would go in the coupon column. Many stores break it down for you on the receipt.
Hope that helps :)
