Ham in all it’s glory! I only have sausage and ground beef left in my freezers. We are eating that up but I need a little break every now and then. This ham is going to do just that. While grocery shopping last week. I found this little hidden treasure. This fancy ham was marked down to only $1.77 a lb. Even the cheapest store brand cooked deli ham (which is basically what this is) costs $2.99 lb. If we weren’t doing this challenge I would of bought the other 3 as well. It was really hard not buying them all.
This morning for breakfast was leftover barbacoa with egg tacos. Seeing a theme here? We like breakfast tacos!
Frozen pretzels, apple slices, and peanut butter.
Fruit with popcorn, and granola bars. My husband took a protein bar and oranges. I had a protein shake and apple slices.
Tonight is going to be ham warmed and toasted in some olive oil. Cabbage cooked in the oil and liquid from the ham. I have some leftover grits. I am topping those with cheese and putting them in the oven to melt the cheese while it warms the grits.
