Have you checked with your local grocery store to see if they have a baby club? If so, you should really join. They offer great benefits and coupons for parents with young children.
Here are the ones I know of. If you know of more, please leave a comment so I can add them to my list!
- Food Lion Baby Steps
- Price Chopper Baby Club – For kids under 4!
- Publix Baby Club – For kids under 2!
- ShopRite Baby Bucks
- Save-a-Lot
- Winn Dixie Baby Club – For kids under 2!
If you are new to Couponing, you might want to take a moment to read more in my Getting Started Couponing series. It will teach you how to coupon like I do!

I know you probably don’t have Econo Foods in your area, but they have a program that whenever you buy baby products (formula, diapers, bottles, baby food, etc.) they give you an additional printout for the total that you spent on those items. Then, when you have $150 worth of printouts, they give you a $10 giftcard to their store. They also count everything you purchase using WIC (fresh produce, eggs, milk, cheese, cereal… whatever is on your WIC list). I average about $80 worth of gift cards every month by buying drop ins, diapers, wipes, formula, and baby food at their store (along with anything else they offer for babies). They keep their prices competitive to big box stores and I love their customer service, along with the fact that I can buy food for free! They are also amazing at HELPING you coupon- I am very new, and cashiers have actually told me, “you want to give me that coupon” or “do you know that we have a coupon for this in our circular?” They even scan any coupons they have onto their store card and always apply that card to your purchases automatically!

I haven’t even heard of most of these stores! Our local grocery stores are HEB, Randall’s, and Kroger. (There is also Food Town, and of course we have Target, Walmart, and Sam’s.)
This would be an interesting discussion topic — “What are the major grocery stores where you live?”

I wanted to remind you all too, that Publix has a preschool club for the kiddos once they turn 2 and graduate from the Baby Club!
It’s called Publix Preschool Pals and you can sign up here

My daughter received (so far) an apron, a chef hat, a bath puppet scrubber and a Preschool Pals cd/computer game (even Mac compatible, which I was very happy about!), not to mention the awesome coupons that arrive periodically!
