Debating on how many days you need for the Magic Kingdom? I suggest you plan at least 2 full days. If you can squeeze 3 full days you might just feel like you were able to see and do everything on your list. The Magic Kingdom has over 40 attractions. Add in the character meets, parades, nighttime shows and you can see why it is a struggle to fit everything into one day.
If we go for 7 days, we usually plan 3 full days in the Magic Kingdom, 1 day in each of the other parks and then we have a day towards the end of the trip where we don’t plan the park and just decide the night before which park we want to go to.
We’ve even done trips where we spent the mornings in other parks and then hopped to the Magic Kingdom at night to focus on one specific area like Tomorrowland.
Here is how many days other SavEars plan in the Magic Kingdom:
2 out of 4 days – Lisa
3 1/2 out of 9 days – Watkins
2 at least! – Abby
3 days – Danielle
We are doing 4 out of 9 days at Magic Kingdom. – Sheri
It’s the only park we spend multiple days at. 2 for Magic Kingdom, 1 for the rest. – Amanda
We do 1, but at least 2 would be better….especially during peak season. – Emily
2 full days and then 2 half days. – KellyAnn
We have two full days plus our arrival day at Magic Kingdom. – Brandy
