Here is another great guest post from Staci at Destinations in Florida.
2013 marks the 20th year of the International Flower and Garden Festival at Epcot. This event, presented by HGTV, runs from March 6-May 19. With a valid park admission, guests will be able to glean from daily gardening seminars that offer tips, tricks, and ideas for any type of gardener. HGTV also adds some star power with some of their own celebrities speaking out about their design concepts. Besides educating
Old favorites will make their usual appearance with some new features appearing as well. There will be picture perfect topiaries of your favorite Disney characters, Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Daisy, and Pluto, as you enter the park. Since it is the festival’s 20th year, the gang will be engaged in a celebratory cookout, and Goofy will be seen on an anniversary cake to commemorate the event. Other favorites like Mike and Sully, Phineas and Ferb, and Lightning McQueen and Mater will be available for all to see. Eight fairy topiaries of Pixie Hollow can be seen in Fawn’s Butterfly House as well. All of these new topiary additions are sure to please any park-attendee.
Finally, every weekend, there will be a Flower Power Concert Series. Here’s the lineup…
