Disney World has many experiences for guests, from Character interactions to attractions and shows. Another fun pastime is shopping, and Disney World has many fun retail stores. Whether you are just browsing, looking for the perfect souvenir or need a snack break, these 3 stores at Disney World are not to miss!
1. Mitsukoshi Department Store
Find the Mitsukoshi Department Store in the Japan pavilion of Epcot’s World Showcase. This is a large retail shop, with something for everyone. Shop adorable souvenirs such as Hello Kitty and Pokémon. Guests can also find the Pick-A-Pearl experience here. Pay to choose your oyster and keep the pearl inside (get lucky and get TWIN pearls)!
There are many items to shop centered around the Kawaii culture as well, that are just too cute to pass up. Also shop delicious treats, traditional clothing and fans, and much more. Take some time to browse this shop.
2. Goofy’s Candy Co.
For a sweet treat and to be a kid in a Candy Store head to Goofy’s Candy Co. in Disney Springs. Shop pre-packaged and fresh treats and goodies here. Frozen fans will love the Olaf apples and cake pops.
Stop by for a Goofy Glacier (a slushy). Or, the guest favorite – Create your own treat!
3. World of Disney
Disney Springs is a destination for shopping, dining and entertainment. There are many fun shops to browse, once you satisfy your sweet tooth at Goofy’s Candy Co., head to World of Disney to browse also in Disney Springs. World of Disney is the largest retail shop on Disney World property and offers something for everyone.
Shop Men’s, Women’s and children’s clothing, accessories and ears. Browse the housewares section, the mugs are my favorite, photo frames and much more! World of Disney was under refurbishment for most of 2018, if its been awhile since you have browsed here be sure to stop by. The store now features a more open and modern look, with magical touches!

The title needs a little correcting. I was fully expecting an article about shops not to waste your time on.
