When a recipe calls for fresh lemon or lime juice, there actually is a proper way to juice them. When you slice the fruit in half, place it in your hand with the cut side facing your palm. Most people squeeze them with the cut side facing down, which allows the seeds to fall in your food and you’ll have to fish them out. If you squeeze it while the cut side is facing your palm instead, the seeds won’t fall out.
