This tip comes from my reader Leigh…
A cleaning tip that I use is using used dryer sheets on pots, pans and dishes instead of throwing them away. Instead of buying Brillo or SOS pads I just save all of my used dryer sheets and use them instead. There is still enough softener left in the used sheets to soften stuck on food. It is so much easier than scrubbing and it’s free! If I have a really stuck on mess I use a dryer sheet out of the box. It does the trick every time!
I then thoroughly clean the pot with dishwashing soap or put it in the dishwasher.

don’t forget mosquito repellant.
I don’t use them in my dryer at all…but I do have a box from the Dollartree for empty suitcases, purses, the trunk of my car or anything that gets closed up for long periods of time that I want to smell “downy fresh”! lol
Dryer sheets work great on soap scum in the shower too!!!
I have been doing this for a while it totally works!
in my dresser for clothes, closlets, shoes when not using,,,,,hubby soccer bag or baseball bag…and the kids bags too
in my drawer, use for dusting, in with my clothes that i put away for the winter or summer, so when i pull them out for that season ,they smell wonderful, i could go on and on with dryer sheet, i use them for everything, i put some in my car, for the smell, cheap way to keep your car smelling nice….
We keep one with our stored blankets in the summer so when winter comes they are fresh as a daisy, er dryer sheet :)
