What do you do when you need to receive a fax but don’t have a fax machine? The first thing people might consider is one of the businesses where you have to pay to receive faxes like Kinkos or even your local library (ours is 25c a page). But did you know that your bank and insurance companies will accept the fax for you free of charge? They might require that you be present when the fax is sent to you, but it is worth inquiring about!
My mother in law is working with a lawyer out of state and she has had to send and receive faxes from him quite a few times. Our insurance agent (State Farm), has gladly accepted the fax and will call when it is received. They even have a notary on site that has made this process extremely easy!

Not sure of the site so search send faxes online free. But I send faxes free online, max 2 a day and no more than 3 pages long.
I work for an attorney and we notarize for free and send faxes out for free or get them for our clients, no problem at all…. so if you have an attorney for your Will, or someone you use for all your real estate transactions call them up,I’msure they don;t have a problem; I don’t mind doing it if I can make a client happy and save them some money :-)
I had to go to my credit union to use their notary services for free, won a sweepstakes and need to get my affidavit notarized. I then asked the CSR if they could fax it for me and he did it with no questions asked! Woo Hoo
