My friend and her family, we are going to call them the “G” family, are at Disney until Friday. She volunteered to send Live from Disney photos for me to share with all of you. I thought it would be fun to follow along on her family vacation.
It was a very rainy Tuesday at the Magic Kingdom. Rainy days at Disney equal shorter lines. Brings some ponchos and keep on going!
Go here to see all the Disney pics I have posted including my Hidden Mickey series.

I grew up in NJ where when it rain that meant all day non stop.Your plans were over. Now that I live in FL I never worry because it rains for 5 minutes.
***Tip***It is a good time to get into your favorite restaurant***
Example: I took a last minute trip to MK in Feb and there was no chance of getting into Cinderella Royal Table. On the day I wished to go it poured like crazy.I walked up to the desk & ask if any chance to get in.The lady said its wide open since alot of ppl cxl. It was truly magical because we had just finished castle package at bibbi bobbidi boutique.

We usually forgo the ponchos unless there will be actuall heavy downpours, and we keep a raincover for our stroller so when we park it we can cover it up incase it rains so the kids don’t get icky wet seats when we come back… afternoon showers are just an everyday thing here in FL, lol

We can always tell who the Floridians are on rainy days at Disney. While every one else is hiding from the rain like its something dangerous, we just keep going like nothing is happening. My family and I don’t even bring ponchos even when we know its going to rain.
One day, a few month ago, we went to MK and it started to sprinkle/rain and people where honestly screaming and running for shelter. You would have thought someone had a gun or someone was hurt. Nope, it was just raining -_-
Keep on going G family. Rainy days are the best days to go to MK.

I love rainy days at disney! We don’t get much rain here in Colorado so when it does rain, I just love it. It is fun to run around in ponchos! Just one rainy day on a trip is enough though!
