We meant to see the 1130 mermaid show but just missed it. So Jason took Emily to see American idol and I took Jacob to hug Minnie again. The cast member whispered to me that Minnie had talked about Jacob backstage. That his kisses were just so sweet and he genuinely loved Minnie. So when she saw him again, she gave him even more sweet kisses and hugs. I was too busy grinning to take pics with the iPhone. But here is another shot from earlier.
Magical Moments

That is so awesome!! That’s why I love Disney-stories like that!
that is an adorable picture! How sweet!
How cute is that picture.
Minnie is a special character. When we were there this summer for my daughter’s bday all she wanted was to see Minnie. We saw her at AK but she still felt that she hadn’t seen her yet because Minnie was in a different outfit. The morning we went to HS we saw Minnie, so we rushed over to get in line. We were too late:( My daughter started to cry so the cast member told us to wait in a certain spot and that she would be able to meet her. So we did and my daughter got her own meeting with Minnie. Minnie even rewrote her bday button because her name had came off. She keeps that button close to her all the time. It isn’t nice to reward tantrums, but she got to meet her favorite!
Sweet that Minnie remembered him…they see many, many children everyday..your little man must have made quite an impression!
When we saw Minnie she was making kissing noises under her mask…my lil one loved it.
Those are the moments that make Disney such a special place!
Sounds like maybe Minnie has a little crush on a certain little boy. Watch out Mickey!
That is super sweet!
It makes you so proud as a parent to hear something sweet about your child when you least expect it. You know grandparents are going to say that kind of stuff but a stranger doesn’t have to so when they do it just melts your heart!
Awww, that is just so sweet (made me teary eyed!) What an amazing, magical memory for you :*) PS – give that sweet boy a hug from us!
Such magic isn’t it! I can’t help but smile and act like a kid when I see the characters too! I laugh to myself wondering if they think I am nuts, but I’m sure I’m not alone, happy to see them that is:)
How sweet is that!
Can’t wait! Going in march!
So sweet! When we took my 2 year old in November she was in love with the princesses. We got some of the sweetest pictures ever, I might have to send a couple to you. The princesses were so taken with my daughter that they spent a lot of time at our table
That is so sweet!!! I would have loved to be a fly on the wall after the characters met my DS. He pretty much tackled them when it was his turn. He charmed the princesses. When we met Mickey and Pluto, Mickey got the shaft b/c he was more excited about Pluto (we had seen Mickey several times already)
That is so sweet!
Awe, that was neat!! The people that work at Disney are so friendly. It is the one place were I feel so welecome. They must enjoy there jobs!
How sweet is that!
Awh, what a cute and sweet little boy you have. Here’s to hoping he never outgrows the magic of Disney!
So very sweet.
Don’t you just love those moments when you are too wrapped up in the moment, that you actually don’t take a picture. Even if you are a picture taking person. Of course afterwards, I’m like man I wish I had a picture of that. But our memories will just have to suffice.
Loving your trip.
Great story. Jacob must be some huger.
So sweet!
How sweet! And how great is it that both of your kids like greeting the characters. My boys never liked meeting any of the characters so if the girls wanted to meet some, hubby and I always had to split up and go different directions. Hope you’ll be making a scrapbook with all of the great Disney pics from this visit.
OH that is TOO CUTE!!!!
What a wonderful Disney memory. You just gave me the warm fuzzies! :)
This is a great memory. It’s sweet how Minnie remembered Jacob.
That is too precious! I think it truly is his happy place :)
Awwww! That is so sweet!
That is soooo incredibly sweet!! And what a neat cast member to make sure that he got even more kisses and hugs!! :)
This is precious!
Awww, of course you think he’s sweet, he’s your baby, but now you know he is and it’s not just to you that he is if Minnie, who sees cuties all day, tells you.
Loving the pictures Kristin!
as sweet as jacob is, it’s no wonder that minnie loves his kisses!
Awesome!
I’m telling you: those castmembers are truly amazing! They go above and beyond, consistently! So glad you are having such a truly magical time!
Isn’t it great to see the imagination and love through their eyes. My kids are 10 and 4 now. I remember Emily’s first time seeing Aladdin in Epcot. Her heart melted she was about 3 or 4. He wooed her something special. Gabe is 4 about a year ago he was so excited to see Mickey and when he was finished he said now we have to find his best pal Pluto. He fell asleep in the stoller and we came up to Pluto and Goofy. They bent down and looked at him I woke him up and he screamed with excitement that he had found Mickey’s best pals.
Our last trip Gabe had Woody boots and could not wait to show him. Those were great pictures.
It is amazing what the characters can do with actions and not speak a word. I was amazed at how much attention and love they show when you greet them. My son gave kisses to Minnie too… she covered her eyes all embarrased, it was super cute. Good thing you went to visit her again!
How sweet!
There is some really SPECIAL Pixie Dust being sprinkle on your Sweet Family!!! You are a blessing to so many and we are all loving these posts. I know that if I need to smile I just need to go to your blog. So, I have been smiling ALL morning~
Hugs to all of you and enjoy the magic~
Thats sooo sweet. Jacob is such a cute kid. My son likes Mickey and used to be very shy whenever he saw him, but one day he just opened up his arms and gave him a great big hug and that was the end of his shyness.
This just made me tear up with joy!! What a sweet memory!!
how special!
That is so wonderful. Its so exciting to read everyday about your wonderful trip. sure makes me want to start planning our next vacation.
too cute. Love it
How sweet! I hope your kids never outgrow their love of the characters!
I knew the characters were special people and this proves it! Wow!!!
Oh No we missed Ariel?
Awe! My toddler likes Minnie but she is scared of characters when we get close so I don’t think she will hug Minnie yet. Maybe when shes older. Glad your having a good trip.
Aww, what a great story!!! Def a magical moment :)
Oh that is too sweet and tender. How nice of the cast member to pass that along to you the mom! That’s the special stuff at Disney World!

And BTW my husband, son & I are following all of your WDW posts and reminiscing about our trip last month. We don’t want you to leave so we can keep being reminded of the Disney magic!!! :)
Aww… That brought me close to tears, it is so sweet! Treasure that memory forever!!
Minnie is my favorite too. I have a 3 or 4 foot stuffed Minnie in my office to keep me company when I work ; )
How special is that!!! What a treasured memory!!!
So Sweet!
How awesome! I bet he loved that! Thats like the time my hubby and I went to WDW for our anniv. and we got the anniv. pins. We came out of the hall of presidents and a castmember said someone was looking for us and handed us a phone. Imagine our surprise when we heard mickey and minnie singing happyy anniversary to us! it was truly magical!
That’s so neat! I never knew they did things like that!
So sweet!!!
Ahhhh, what a sweet story. That just warms my heart. Kristin, you should write that story in a journal or scrapbook to go with the picture so Jacob can read about it years from now. Those are priceless memories.
Awww how sweet!! I LOVE when they share little things like that, it really means the world!
It is so sweet to see how the characters really do enjoy their jobs! Which makes it even more magical for the kids! (And just an FYI even my husband asks what you are up to on your blog!)
They are really great with the kids! :) I’m glad your husband is enjoying the posts, too. :)
very sweet!
