Wondering where to meet Anna and Elsa at Walt Disney World? Anna and Elsa are a very popular meet and greet located in Norway in Epcot. They are currently meeting guests from 9am though 9pm. Meet with Elsa & Anna at their summer home, Royal Sommerhus.
Consider booking a breakfast reservation at Akershus for 8 am. Arrive to Epcot by 7:30 am (this means getting to your bus stop no later than 6:50 to ensure you get on the bus) and head to the gate for breakfast reservations (usually on the far left at Epcot). They will let you in starting at 7:30 even if your reservation isn’t until 8 since Norway is such a long walk.
When you first see the waiter, go ahead and ask for the check so that you won’t have to wait on it at the end of the meal and you will avoid the rush of everyone else paying for their meal. Then, send one adult from your party to wait at the rope for the Anna and Elsa meet and greet. Your entire party does not have to wait, just make sure you tell the Cast Member how many total will be in your party.
This is one way to do the meet and greet. If you don’t have a reservation at Akershus, by the time you get back to Norway (it’s at least a 9 minute walk from the front gate), all the people who did have a reservation will be in front of you in the line for Anna and Elsa.
If you have met Anna and Elsa, please let us know about your meet and greet experience!

Just a heads up Anna and Elsa are no longer being shown at Epcot. Just went on a trip and they are only at the Princess Fairytale Hall. We got there at 905 (5 minutes after park opened) and the line was already about a 5 hour wait. The fast passes are full until June unless someone cancels theirs. We did not wait but we got a tip from a cast member-the line closes at 5 PM and anyone who is in line gets to stay in line and see the girls. So we got there around 430 and it was about an hour wait even though the sign said 2 hours. Hope that info helps!

Glad you were able to see them!

We have reservations for a character dinner at Askerhus during our June 2014 trip to WDW. I’m hoping we’ll get lucky and Anna & Elsa will be some of the princesses we meet there!
Pirate Mom Penny says
As of Sunday, 3/9/14, Anna & Elsa may be seen from afar in the new ‘Disney Festival of Fantasy Parade’ at the Magic Kingdom. Perhaps they will be visiting Princesses at ‘Princess Fairytale Hall’ in the near future too.

We met Anna and Elsa on 2/17 and went straight to Norway after the gated opened and waited for 4.5 hours. We were wrapped around the back of the building. There are two lines and once you get to the roped off area in front it’s still at least 45 minutes. By the time we left the lime wait was 6 hours they said. It was worth it though!!

We are firsttimers heading to WDW tomorrow.
My 6yr old son is in LOVE w/each princess so it is a big to do on his list.
I cannot see ourselves waiting this long just to get an autograph & quick hug from them.
Aside from the breakfast & standing in a line for hours, there is no other chance of seeing them around the park, just by chance? RIGHT? Just needed confirmation. I thought there was a spot in Epcot you could go see most everyone (Character Spot?) Appreciate everyone’s thoughts.
Crystal says
The Character Spot only has 3 characters. Mickey, Minnie, and we’ve seen Pluto or Goofy. As of right now the Frozen characters are only in Norway at Epcot. There are other princess meets in Epcot and Magic Kingdom. Hope that helps. :)

We were there in January and it was crazy. We explained it to our daughter and agreed that writing her from home & receiving an autographed photo and then purchasing the movie was a much better deal than waiting forever to see them. So surprised that Disney hasn’t put them in another park as well. Bad management of them….very disappointing!

We met them today. Went straight back there at park opening. Was told 4.5 hours and it ended up being 4 hours.
Kristan says
We are going in September so I hope the wait is shorter by then!

We met them on November 21st which was before the movie was released. We had a late breakfast at Akershus and when we came out the line was really long so we did other things. We came back a little after 2:00 and waited less than 30 minutes. We had no idea at the time how successful the movie would be but my daughter’s name is Anna so it was a must-do for us. I’m so glad we made time for it!

We meet Anna and Elsa on 01/24/13 and did exactly what you said with Breakfast in Normandy at 8:00….we even sent one of the Dads out at 8:45 to go stand in line while we poaid the check and we did not get to see Anna and Elsa until 1:45……but we also did what you said and took all of the kids back to the front of the park to do all of the things like Nemo and Soaring and Test Track While the Mom’s stood there they took Dad’s place….then received a text from Mom telling us to come back that we would be going in in the next 1/2 hour…..Worked out good for us…not so for the Great Moms that stood there for 4 and 1/2 hours so the kids could see their favorite princess and yet still have fun in the Parks…….

We met them Dec. 3rd and we waited 2.5 hours!!
Kristin of Couponing to Disney says
Long wait! I really want to meet them, though!

When we went in December we stayed at the Beach club so we got in through the back entrance. My husband went in ahead of us at about 10 to get in the line for the 11 meet and great and we still didn’t make the 11. We got to see them at the next time slot as the second family they took. My husband stood in line and I took the girls on the ride in norway, then my husband took them on the ride in mexico and we just took turns standing in line and taking them to do something fun. It wasn’t that bad. It was well worth the wait they spend a good amount of time with the kids and are so in character. Just be prepared they have a little shop full of Elsa and Anna merchandise when you leave. We had to buy Olaf, Elsa and Anna dolls!

We were at disneyland last week and the line was only 120minutes and I thought that was long. As it was an adult only trip we didn’t wait in it but I was surprised to see such a long line. However, I am excited to see some cute merchandise that is yet to come and hopeful that the frozen cast will be even more incorporated into disney in the future. Even as adults we love that movie!

I’m excited to hear they are at DL as well. We are going in October for a trip & my 4yo likes to list off who she wants to see & “those girls from that movie we saw in the theaters about the snow with the Let it Go song” makes the cut ;)

We met them the second week of February while we were there! We didn’t know they were doing the continuous thing. We got there 40 minutes early before a “set time” and they told us there was a 2 and a half hour wait. It was only about an hour and a half. I was talking to a cast member and she said they always give the max time that it could potentially be. There are 2 lines. One by the entrance that’s ropes off. She said it’s about an hour wait once you get there. Then the second line wraps around the front of the building where the Main Street is. It’s definitely worth it! Send daddy there with his drink of choice ;) while everyone else does other fun stuff. Any time anyone asks our 4 year old what her favorite part was (we were there for a week), she tells them meeting Anna and Elsa. The princess were VERY believable. Had the voice, personality, and the look! I was very impressed, especially with their looks! They looked just like the princesses and made great pictures. We didn’t feel rushed when we were getting our pic taken. There was 11 of us. Hopes this helps someone! It’s worth it!

We met Anna and Elsa on 12/7. We ate at Via Napoli, and after we were done, went right over to Norway. The line was not long, and we waited 45 min., but only because Anna and Elsa took a 15 min. break. I think they closed the line at 7:45, but we were in it around 7:15. If I remember correctly, we were finally seen around 8pm and at the time, we’re 2nd last in line. When we went, it was just like a typical meet n greet, and it was not in “sets.”
Kristy says
Oops, I meant 12/8!
