Halloween Time is coming up quickly! Did you know that there is a Mickey’s Halloween Party at both Walt Disney World and Disneyland? Yes! Guests on both coasts of the US can enjoy extra Halloween fun combined with some Disney magic during the fall months. Although the Mickey’s Halloween Party is very popular at both parks, today we are going to focus on the Halloween festivities at the Disneyland location.
Where and when does Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party take place? Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party takes place at Disneyland Park. Disneyland Park is the location of Sleeping Beauty’s castle, and is all decked out for fall and the Halloween festivities for guests! It begins mid September and continues through November 1, 2015. It occurs three nights a week, and these days change depending on if it is September or October.
Does California Adventure also close early for the Halloween Party? No, it does not. This would be a great reason to have park hopper tickets for your Disneyland trip. California Adventure and Disneyland Park are literally a “hop” from each other. They are right across the sidewalk! So, if you are not planning on purchasing Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party tickets, you can hop over to California Adventure and continue your evening of fun.
What extra magical activities can I expect at Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party in Disneyland? Of course, there is always trick or treating on Main Street USA. Guests can also enjoy a dance party and dressing up in their favorite costumes to take part in the fun! Plus, there are the fun sweet treats, HalloScreams Fireworks, and the new Paint the Night parade. Even the attractions get into the Halloween “spirit”! The Haunted Mansion Holiday adds extra eery fun, the Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy, and the Tower of Terror all are especially festive during this time!
Is there fall decor and fun food as well? Yes! The fall decor is beautiful at the Disneyland Resort. Did you know there are hundreds of hand carved pumpkins on display, and no two are alike? The Big Thunder Ranch gets into the spirit with the goats dressed in Halloween costumes, too! Plus the pumpkin carvers are showing their skills and adding to the atmosphere. You’ll also find pumpkin in everything! Check out the Jolly Holiday bakery for some of the finest pumpkin treats during the party!
Are tickets on sale for the party? Not yet. Tickets for Mickey’s Halloween Party will go on sale July 29, 2015. They will be $69-$77 in price, depending on the night you choose to visit the party.
