Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a hard ticketed event at Disney’s Magic Kingdom. Guests with tickets may arrive at 4pm to start enjoying their evening of not so scary fun. Below are 7 tips first time visitors.
1. Trick or Treat at Magic Kingdom
Be prepared for a fun trick or treat event at Disney’s Magic Kingdom as you venture from land to land. Bring a bag or basket to collect your candy in (bags are provided, however they are small in size). They also offer allergy-friendly treat options, just ask a cast member for a teal treat bag (teal is the color of Food Allergy awareness). Be prepared for the bag to get heavy!
2. Costume Guidelines
All guests, including adults, may dress in csotume as their favorite character. However, no impersonating character such as signing autographs for other guests. Costumes should be family-friendly with no weapons, suggestion of weapons or sharp objects of any kind. Adults are not allowed to wear masks and their costumes can not drag on ground (floor length princess dresses) plus capes can not be worn past mid waist. Guests under the age of 13 may wear a mask as long as it doesn’t cover the entire face and eyes are visible. As always, using good judgement is encouraged.

Then, end your night singing to frightfully good songs during “Happy HalloWishes Fireworks”. Songs include: “Grim Grinning Ghosts,” from the Haunted Mansion attraction, “Poor Unfortunate Souls,” from The Little Mermaid and more!
7. Eat Early
Arrive at the park between 4-4:30 to get the most value out of your night at the party. Do note that limited restaurants will be open during the event. Therefore an early dinner is advised since most will shut down by 7pm on party nights. There will be 3 sit down restaurants open during the party including: Be Our Guest, Cinderella’s Royal Table & Crystal Palace. Al though dining at a sit-down restaurant during the party would be wasting precious party time so eating an early dinner is suggested.
