There is so much to see and do in the Magic Kingdom. Here are what I consider the 10 Must Do’s in the Magic Kingdom:
10. Dine in Cinderella’s Castle – Most children dream of going inside Cinderella’s Castle. One of the only ways to do that is to dine at Cinderella’s Royal Table. You’ll meet Cinderella in the foyer of the castle and then you’ll be ushered up the stairs (or elevator) to dine on the second floor. While you eat, Snow White, Jasmine, Aurora and Belle will come to your table. Just make sure you book your meal 180 days in advance!
9. Ride Tomorrowland Transit Authority PeopleMover – This relaxing ride rarely has long queue. Enjoy 10 minutes of sitting as you zip around the 2nd story of Tomorrowland. You’ll ride through Space Mountain, Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin and the Star Traders store and you’ll even hear them page for Mr. Tom Morrow (tomorrow…get it?). Just save this one for the afternoon.
8. Get a Dole Whip – What kind of list would this be if it didn’t include the iconic Dole Whip treat? You can order yours at Aloha Isle near the Magic Carpets of Aladdin.
7. Ride Pirates of the Caribbean – Adults and children alike are sure to enjoy the boat ride through Pirates of the Caribbean. You will have a 14 foot drop (this takes you under the railroad) and then you’ll be caught in the middle of a cannon ball fight. You might even get a little wet. The ride ends with Captain Jack Sparrow enjoying his treasures.
6. Visit the Tangled restrooms – Built in Fantasyland, the Tangled restrooms aren’t just a loo. Adorned in memorabilia from the Tangled film (including a variety of skillets), both ladies and gentlemen will enjoy seeing what all they can spot. There is even a scavenger hunt posted to see how many Pascal figures you can find hiding outside the restroom area.
5. Ride 7 Dwarfs Mine Train – The newest rollercoaster in the Magic Kingdom uses the latest technology to simulate the swaying and tipping of a real mine cart. You’ll coast around hills and dips right in the middle of Fantasyland and then dive into the mines where you can see the 7 Dwarfs at work. Make sure you book a Fastpass+ if possible.
4. See Tink Fly – During the performance of Happily Ever After, Tink will fly from the Castle to an area above the Tomorrowland Terrace restaurant. Make sure the zip line is visible from where you grab a seat to see the show.
3. Ride Dumbo The Flying Elephant – If you ask someone that has never been to Walt Disney World to name one of it’s attractions, there is a good chance they will name Dumbo. It is one that most people know of and grew up dreaming of riding. Adults and children alike will enjoy a spin on this classic attraction.
2. Meet Mickey Mouse at Town Square Theater – Guests have a chance to meet Mickey Mouse on Main St USA in Magic Kingdom. Find Mickey at the Town Square theater in theater attire.
1. Ride Peter Pan’s Flight – Hop aboard a pirate’s ship and fly from London to Neverland onboard this classic attraction. Peter Pan’s Flight is one of the few remaining attractions that Walt Disney designed himself for the opening of Disneyland in 1955. Knowing the history of the attraction and the true magic that it embodies makes it an absolute must do in the Magic Kingdom.
