Walt Disney World has announced its commitment to a new affordable housing development. Located in Central Florida, Walt Disney World has almost 80 acres aside for this effort.
Affordable housing has become an issue, and Disney is committed to solving community problems by taking this action. The new development will be located on Disney World owned land in Orange County, Florida. It will include over 1,300 units in a variety of home choices, near schools and the Flamingo Crossings Town Center retail & dining complex!
Over in California, Disneyland Resort is leading a similar effort with the Orange County Housing Trust the Buena Esperanza project.
