Here are some of the cakes that The SavEars have ordered:
I ordered a cake in 2012. It was in the $50 range. It was an 8 inch cake. – Donya
My daughter’s sweet 16 cake. Not only did we have a specific design in mind but we had the requirement that there could be no artificial colors or flavors because my daughter is extremely sensitive to them. Chef Brian and his team at the Contemporary knocked it out of the park!!! It was $84 and worth every penny! – Michelle
This was through Contempory Chef Brian (he was fabulous!) October 2015. Inside had fresh strawberry filling and came to about $62! – Jessica
I had a cake made for me from the Swan and it was delivered to my room, all set up. I was at Disney for Mickeys 5K Jingle Jungle Run with a bunch of friends so this was to celebrate after the run! It cost me 30.00 plus tip! – Tricia

Mickey Mouse Celebration Cakes can be ordered at any Walt Disney World table service restaurant. The Celebration Cakes are offered to guests with the choice of chocolate or white chocolate. The cost is $35 (excluding tax) and feeds 4-6 guests. Add extra flair with the available sayings (added to ears) of “Happy Birthday” or “Congratulations”. These cakes are limited and may sell out, therefore it is recommended to order one early even if dining later.

I have to warn – I had an awful time trying to set up a cake for my son for his 5th birthday at Tusker House. After MANY calls by my Disney travel agent (she wasn’t getting return calls) the cake was totally wrong. AND they tried to charge me for the much more elaborate cake I ordered. Finally, after having to leave my son’s special birthday meal to go discuss the bill, it was fixed. Not a great experience!
