OMG!!!!!!! I’m going to have to show my daughter this but she will practically force me to get on a plane and join you! I so hope we get back before she’s gone! Anyone know when that will be?
I’m so glad you got to do this! The lines were too long every time we tried to do this last time we were there. I love that they have this interactive time with the characters though! So much more personal than a quick hug and picture. I hope Disney does more of these meet and greets- def a magical experience for the kids (and who am I kidding… us too!!!)
You have made my day!!! We are going to Disney in April and my daughter, 4 1/2, keeps talking about meeting Rapunzel and Flynn Rider (I think she has a crush on him). I was hoping they’d have a meet and greet by the time we go, knowing Disneyland is all set up, and now I know they do. Where in the park are they holding it? It’s nice to see they’re adding some new things to do while so many are closing for the expansion.
We go on Feb. 18 to WDW and I was wondering where do you go to line up for her. My three girls would just die to meet and take pics with her. Please let me know. Thanks.
She is a fantastic addition to the Disney family, as is the movie – no wonder Rapunzel is so popular! But, I’m crossing my fingers that the line to see her will be a bit shorter for our trip in December! :)
How cute! Rapunzel is our favorite princess around here. When we met her in Disneyland in October she had on a wig and then a separate piece was on the floor and strung around her meet and greet area, her wig was supposed to be laying on the hair that was going around the house, but it didn’t stay put very well. It looks like where you are they just have a nice long wig without it going around the meet and greet area.
My 4 year old daughter LOVES Rapunzel!!! She keeps talking about meeting her when we go to Disney in September and wondering how she would have her hair. She was so happy to see the picture. Thank you for taking us all along on your trip!
Great pic! We met her & Flynn when we went in November. We had NO idea she’d be out and we happened to be walking near the castle and saw that little area and we weren’t sure what was in it this time and they invited us over to meet them. We were like 4th in line by chance! It was perfect! She was our first character of our day at MK. Fun fun! Flynn was a riot. We loved dancing with them too.
We met Rapunzel and Flynn at Disneyland when we went a few weeks ago and they had to be one of my favorite characters! Flynn was trying to teach my boys how to smolder and he got them to pose like him for the pictures. Then when we went to leave, Flynn ran up to my husband and told him to teach the boys his own smolder because it seemed to work for him. My husband turned to me and said, “I think he was trying to tell me that I got lucky with you.” =0)
aw yay im so glad Rapunzel is there now!! when we were there at Christmas she was there but the lines were SO long we never even tried to meet her:( hope you’re having fun!
aww! this is the only thing i miss out on because i didn’t have a girl!!! i never get to have girly experiences like this one… i do love my boys though…:0)
Stephanie, she will still be there in March. From 10am to 5pm they color while they wait for her. I can’t wait to do it with my 2 year old. Back in November we missed it by just a little bit. Although for MVMCP they did bring them out for pictures and autographs after 5pm.
I made Flynn give me the smoulder LOL He was so hilarious!!!
We were there in December and only part of the line got to color and interact with her before she came out. The rest of the line still had to stand in line. My girls were disappointed that some children were able to color and interact with Rapunzel and Flynn Ryder before they got i line to meet her while the rest of the kids simply had to go straight to the line. Not everyone had the opportunity to color and “play games” with the characters before the meet n greet.
Are you kidding I hope she is still there when I take my girls in October. My almost 5 year old is a tangled fanatic. Can’t wait for our trip. This is making me so jealous but it also shows me what to look forward to so I am so grateful for you sharing the experience, thank you Kristen
Oh, I love her dress!
OMG!!!!!!! I’m going to have to show my daughter this but she will practically force me to get on a plane and join you! I so hope we get back before she’s gone! Anyone know when that will be?
This is just an adorable picture!!
Can’t wait to meet her! We are going in May!!
I know your daughter was so excited to meet Rapunzel.
Fun! My daughters favorite part of the trip…she loves to color too!
I’m so glad you got to do this! The lines were too long every time we tried to do this last time we were there. I love that they have this interactive time with the characters though! We just saw the movie just before Christmas. My daughter now loves her. I hope we get to see her in June.
Such a sweet picture… Your daughter looks amazed at all the hair.. Cannot believe how she keeps that hair up.. I bet it weighs a lot..
She looks speechless and star struck!:) Look at all that hair – a girls dream!:)

Oh I am SOOO jealous – this is dd’s fave princess and she was not out and about when we were there on 12/3!
Great pic! We met her & Flynn when we went in November. Oh we LOVED this movie…so fun that Rapunzel and Flynn are now part of the Disney Magic!

Ooh where was she in the Magic Kingdom? ToonTown?
Rapunzel was one of my fav stories as a kid….Im so glad Disney finally adapted the story!
