This looks like so much fun! I am little envious of CouponingtoDisney.com reader Ani. Her family got to experience DisneySea. She is sharing her amazing day with us.
We had an amazing time on our one day at Tokyo DisneySea in April 2016. We were there during their 15 year anniversary promotion and so there were a lot of cool decorations and special souvenirs you could purchase. We rode Journey to the Center of the Earth first and then 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea next. We visited Mermaid Lagoon and rode a few of the “kiddie” rides in the area and we saw Prince Eric but my daughter didn’t want to take a photo with him.
My two middle children REALLY wanted the hats that they saw so many people wearing, so they each bought the cutest Disney hats I have ever seen! We rode the Indiana Jones ride twice and then my husband went on the thrill ride Raging Spirits by himself, which he loved. We met Minnie Mouse in her jungle outfit and we were only allowed ONE PHOTO with her without being charged money. That was quite different from what we are used to at WDW and I wasn’t thrilled, but the CM took a great photo of us all with Minnie Mouse.
We rode Sinbad’s Storybook Voyage twice because it was my 5 year old’s favorite ride in the park. It was very cute! We ate a lot of yummy food and tried a lot of different snacks. We didn’t eat a full meal here even though we spent the whole day (until 6pm) in the park because we had so many great and filling snacks. Jafar tried to put a spell on our baby with his snake staff and ended up taking a photo with the gang. The characters wonder around more freely at the Japan parks than what we have experienced at WDW as well, but I loved it! They were everywhere!
Disneysea is famous for their different flavors of popcorn and they had 8 flavors while we were there. We tried curry popcorn, cappuccino popcorn, and milk chocolate popcorn and they were all yummy! We ended our day on the Venetian Gondola ride and it was just beautiful and breathtaking at dusk. It was the perfect ending to a great day!
