If one of your Disney movies are scratched, damaged or unplayable, Disney will replace the movie for just $6.95. All you have to do is send a check and the damaged disc to the Disc Replacement Program. Go here for all the details.
Be sure to check out all the Disney Themed Deals that I have posted.
(Thanks Ami!)
Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!!
What about hard to find copies? I have Kiki’s delivery service and the version I have that is damaged to buy it brand new is over $100.00! I bought the recent one that they came out with a few years ago, but the movie is different and that one you can get for around $25.00. The cheapest for the first version was at Amazon, but the price is still at the $100 mark and only a few places sell it.
thats like paying 6.99 per movie. isnt this same price at walmart?.
I have Little Mermaid that is scratched. But if they cant replace b/c depleted? What do you think the equivalent would be? I wonder if you get a choice? I think I might rather keep my verson that skips than have a totally different movie. Hmmmmm
Cool!!
Do you think that you send in just the DVD or the DVD in the case? Our Cinderella and Sleeping Beauty are in need of replacement :0
I wonder the same thing.
Ooh, I need to replace our Enchanted. Now I just have to find it. Lol
Oh man, wish I knew about this a few months ago when I had to pay like $18.95 to replace our Mater’s Tall Tales that got stepped on and cracked!
SOOO good to know! My older girls have scratched a lot of their favorite Disney DVDs and now my 1 year old can get them replaced cheap!!! I am so thrilled!
Wow, great to know if you see one in the dollar bin at a Goodwill store :)
Hooray! Even the ones that are “in the vault?”
I don’t see any restrictions!
YEAH! We have several and I hated to replace them!
what a great site! I added it to faves, and am digging up some of my old Disney movies to send in! thanks!!!!
Thanks for sharing! I wish I would have know this before I went and bought a brand new Monsters inc! Oh well! I know for next time it happens and it will happen again when you have kids.
Awesome since some child *ahem* (my own, how dare he, it is a Disney!) scratched my Pocahontas so badly it won’t play!
Don’t you hate that? :(
