Did you know there is a secret entrance at Universal Studios? One of my favorite travel tips to share with guests headed to Universal is an extra special secret. I love a good travel tip and especially one that is a secret. So just where and what is this secret entrance?
There are certain times of year that Universal Studios theme park experiences high crowd levels. Peak seasons are summer months, Spring Break and that week between Christmas and New Year’s. One way to by-pass the crowds is to buy tickets in advance and use Universal’s secret entrance. If you pre-purchase your tickets, then you can use the second, secret entrance to Universal Studios right next to the Blue Man Group auditorium. . This is a great tip for avoiding long lines over at the main park entrance!
To find the secret entrance you just follow the pathway from CityWalk to the Blue Man Group Theater. Right under the Hollywood Rip, Ride & Rockit coaster you will see the secret sidewalk and entrance kiosk. This entrance can be a real time-saver, especially with how busy Universal gets. Sometimes the entrance is not open first thing in the morning, but if you are headed to the park during a part of the day where there are lines built up in front, us the secret entrance to save some time and you can start hitting the coasters!
