Shopping at consignments sales can save you some money, especially when it comes to kid’s clothes which they outgrow overnight or ruin. But selling the clothes your kids have outgrown at those same consignment sales is a win-win! Consignment sale season is February – April and August – October.
Reader Lynda shared this with us:
To save on my kids clothes, I always consign at local consignment fairs – and then buy their new clothes at the fairs too. It is like re-cycling their clothes. The money I get from consigning always more than covers what I spend buying their new clothes.
If there is a consignment sale in your area that you like to shop at, look up their website by googling the name of the sale. Look up the dates of the sale, dates of registration and requirements for consigning. Planning ahead will give you plenty of time to get your things together and have a profitable sale!
