This money saving tip comes from Jean…
When we earn a gas savings discount from our grocery shopping we bring BOTH cars to fill up. The rules for our store say 30 gallon limit – and both our cars are 12 gallons each. Last week we had a $1.70/gallon discount so paid about $.58/gal. I filled up both cars for $14 last week!

We also fill our portable gas containers (for the lawn mower) to take advantage of these promotions!
Good idea!
Tip: If you are buying in bulk for mowers or other small engines, use a fuel stabilizer to keep the fuel from degrading over time. Even fuel stored for a couple weeks can become a bit stale, possibly causing issues after a while.
I always consider doing this but how do you move both cars through without the pump turning off? I have two cars but if I stand there and hold the pump gun how do I drive the cars through? My husband can do one (at a time) … ANd both of mybtabjs are on the driver side if that matters. Any tips ?
I go with my mom she pulls her car up and pumps and then stands there with the pump I move her car up to a parking spot and pull mine up to her
We go at non busy times and both our tanks are on driver side. Hubby pulls up to one pump and I pull in on the other side. Doing this we only use one nozzle but both our tanks are close enough to just pass over.
