I am so excited reading all of your post while you are down there. Since Friday, my 4 year old daughter has been saying she is going to Disney World. Apparently someone in her class has been talking about it. But with all of your posts through the year on how to save, I think we can manage it in Oct/Nov. Thanks for all of your advice and love for Disney.
That is so cool. Can’t wait to see some more pictures of it and hear more about it. I just love Disney. Actually ran into a lady at Cracker Barrel today who will be at Pop Century in a week. Her daughter who is 23 now, isn’t going, but has been 10 times. Not as much as I have heard from others, but it’s a fair amount. I love to meet Disney people, it helps to remind me that I’m normal and all those people who go to Disney once and never see a need to go back are not normal. :)

We missed the parade in April…we will have to make it a point to try and catch the parades our next visit, whenever that may be?!?

Tabitha the Free Disney dining plan can be a good deal if you stay at a value resort its a free counter serivce meal plan ( 2 counter services, 2 snacks per person per day, 1 refillable resort mug per person) or if you stay at a mod or better you get the basic dining plan ( 1 table service, 1 counter service, 1 snack a day per person per day). You will have to do some math to find out if this deal is better then the others that are also out. You can as disney when you call what other deals are offerd, or a disney travel agent would be happy to help you find the best deal that works for you.

I just saw a commercial for Disney that said if you booked a 6day/5night stay before August 14th you got a Disney dining plan for FREE! (A savings of $680 for a family of 4!)
I’m not at all a Disney expert. Is this a good way to do it or is there a better way?
