Within Future World at Epcot are different Pavilions. The Seas with Nemo and Friends (called The Sea Pavilion) is one of my favorites.
The Seas with Nemo and Friends
– This ride takes you under the sea with Nemo. You will see real fish and sea creatures plus Nemo and all his friends.
– The ride lasts about 4 minutes.
– Do NOT miss this attraction. You will love it!
– Check the times guide for when it opens. It opens within the first hour of the park, but not immediately.
– Make sure your children get a good spot infront of the tank. They are going to love it!
Make sure you check out The Seas main tanks and exhibits too. You can even see divers feeding the fish!
The Land is where you find the most popular ride in Epcot, Soarin. So it is going to be crowded! The Land reminds me of a shopping mall. There are 2 levels. You enter on the second level and take either steps or the escalator down to level one where Soarin’ is located. You should avoid this area from 11 am to 3 pm because of all the restaurants. It’s like a food court with rides!
– Can anyone chime in with tips?
– This ride has Fastpass. Don’t wait longer than 20 minutes!
– This is a boat ride that takes you through the green houses.
– This ride does has Fastpass.
– Minimum height is 40 inches.
– This is everyone’s main focus in the morning. I suggest sending one person ahead of your party to get everyone Fastpasses.
– The best seats are top-row center. There are 3 rows. It’s okay to ask for the lowest row.
– There is a food court located next to the entrance for this ride. It is a great place for one of the parents to hang out with the younger kids while the older kids ride.
Disney World is the Most Magical Place On Earth. Be sure to learn how to make the most of your trip by reading the Disney World Training series. You can also browse all the articles I have written in an easy to use outline. And if you are ready to book your trip, be sure to read about the perks of using an authorized Disney vacation planner (plus it’s FREE!).
When we were at disneyland a few months ago, we must have rode Soarin’ about 5 times! (It was horribly rainy and thus practicly no one there.) Loved this ride! It involves all your senses and makes it very realistic.
If you can, wait to the row B#1. It is the front middle row and it is worth the wait. All the other places you sit there tend to be feet dangling in your veiw, or you can see the sides of the screen and it takes away slightly from the overall experience.
FANTASTIC RIDE!!! Definitely one of our favorites :) We were lucky to be able to ride it as amny times as we did!
We loved soarin and can’t wait to go back. You have to get the kids picture inside Bruce’s mouth after the Nemo ride. That is one of my favorite pictures from our last family trip.
The Seas is one my favorites, too. You guys are going to have such a good time! Are you pumped?
I am so so so so so excited!!
Turtle Talk With Crush was our FAVORITE OF THE ENTIRE TRIP! Good for adults & kids!
I just wanted to let you know that I love your training posts! The way you approach the parks and attractions is easy to follow for a first-timer and enjoyable and comprehensive for a veteran. I am an enormous Disney fan (part of why I love your site!) and am impressed with your trip savings! Keep it coming…you have many loyal fans!
Thanks Beth!! :)
Thanks! This helps me alot.
My husband loves soarin! So did I. You get past the heights thing after a few minutes lol. We got the top row once, woah!
My daughter LOVED Living with the Land- I thought she would be bored but she thought it was really cool. Circle of Life has some great shots of animals and of course Pumba & Timone, but it was a little heavy for our preschooler & toddler. I liked it a lot, but I dig earthy stuff ;)
Turtle Talk with Crush= one of my favorite attractions in any park!
Also- Soarin’ is a great ride to use the parent swap. I sat out with my little one while everyone else used their fastpasses (still had to wait a while) but then we went to lunch with the princesses, rode a few other things and then went back to use the parent swap. And since you can take a guest, my older girl got to ride it again with me. I didn’t know how the parent swap thing worked, so this was a new discovery for me, at least. :)
I’m really enjoying these posts. Makes me miss it all!
Tip for the Circle of Life – Don’t waste your time. We were bored to tears from my 59 yo father to my 4 yo DD.
If you go straight to Soarin’ when the rope drops, you can usually grab a fastpass, get in the regular line, ride and then use your fastpass right afterward. We did this a couple times to ride twice in the first hour!
I agree about Living with the land, it is really good, at least both my kids loved it. I wouldn’t waste a fast pass on it. We were there last week and it was really one of the fastest moving lines. I echo the turtle talk with crush. It is fantastic, don’t miss it!!!
Soarin’ has a 40″ minimum height – my 4 year old LOVED it!
Living with the Land is a great ride. All ages enjoy this ride. The description can sound boring, but it is wonderful. It makes you want to start a garden. Even if you don’t have a green thumb!
If you liked this ride, check into the Behind the Seeds tour next time you’re there! It takes you through the greenhouses on foot and is really cool!
I didn’t know about the “Behind the Seeds” tour last time I was there. When we go back in September, this is a definite must-see. I can’t wait for this tour since we are in preparations for setting up a greenhouse at our place.
This is one of my favs from childhood, such a relaxing ride and really neat.
This is one of my favorite things. I love the behind the seeds tour and the ride well I have waited an hour for it because I really really like it.
