Before you visit, here are 10 things to know about the Disney Parks:
- Before you enter the Disney Parks you will be screened by security. Some guests will even be randomly selected to walk through the metal detector.
- If you try to bring in a selfie stick, they will have you tag it and allow you to pick it up on your way out of the parks. I wouldn’t bother bringing it.
- You must show common courtesy to fellow Park Guests and Cast Members by not swearing or engaging in unsafe, illegal, disruptive or offensive behavior.
- You must not run in the parks.
- Costumes may not be worn by guests 14 years or older.
- Smoking, including vaping, is only allowed in designated smoking areas.
- Guests under 14 must be accompanied by a guest of 14 or older in order to enter the parks.
- Guests under age 7 must be accompanied by a guest of 14 or older on the attractions. Those 7 and older may ride alone.
- Masks are not allowed by guests 14 or older unless it is for medical reasons. Guests under 14 must have their eyes fully visible in the mask.
- If a park reaches capacity, it will close to awaiting guests even if you have an admission ticket. If you are visiting on a busy day (such as Christmas Day), make sure you arrive well before the park opens.
