We had a great time at Epcot today. Here are the things I learned, the tips I want to share and just some general observations:
- We arrived at 8 AM and found the lines to still be relatively short. They let us into the parks at 8:40 AM.
- They were not holding guests at internal ropes today. Hubby and the kids were able to go straight back to Frozen Ever After.
- Without a Fastpass, they waited about 10 minutes before getting on the boat. They were off the ride by 9 AM.
- The Single Rider Line was great this morning on Test Track. They were able to ride twice by 9:30 AM. They designed their car at a station right after you got off the ride and before you entered the showroom. They were then able to go test out their car on Test Track. This is great since you don’t have the opportunity to design one when you use Single Rider Line. We will keep exploring this option and will report back after our next visit.
- Mexico is no longer opening at 9 AM nor is La Cantina de San Angel serving breakfast. I am not sure if this is permanent or if it was just today.
- At 9:30 AM, Anna and Elsa had a 5 minute wait. Frozen Ever After had a 60 minute wait.
- We were able to score a reservation for lunch at Via Napoli at 9:30 AM. Keep trying for your top picks! A spot might just open up.
- When it was time to go on Soarin’, the baby had fallen asleep. Since they don’t allow strollers in The Land pavilion, we talked to the Cast Member at the entrance and she said just to let the Cast Member at the ride know that we want to do Rider Switch and our baby was asleep. Hubby had no issue getting the Rider Switch pass. And of course the baby woke up as soon as they were in the queue.
- Innoventions West has a number of closed attractions but it is still home to the Visa Meet ‘N Greet, Baymax and Inside Out. There is also ample seating and the air is cold and refreshing. Molly Kate enjoyed running around the seating area (it was empty) and stretching her legs. Great place to duck with little ones.
- I completed 14,241 steps between 8 AM and 2 PM. Just to give you an idea.
Hope this helps with your planning!

This post was so helpful! Planning on trying to ride Frozen Ever After without a FastPass+ on our trip next month. Will plan to arrive plenty early! Thanks Kristin!
Hey Kristin! Tell your daughter that I absolutely Adore her Girl Scouts tshirt that she sported at EPCOT! I took my Girl Scout troop to Savanah a few years ago and we both got the same shirt! I love seeing girls showing support for scouting ♡
