Before you dine, check out these 5 tips for Quick-Service dining in Animal Kingdom:
- There are no straws or lids – For the safety of the animals, there are no lids allowed for beverages. They also only offer paper straws. If you choose to dine at one of the outdoor establishments, keep in mind that you will have to balance a tray full of open top beverages as you navigate to your table.
- Dine in the air conditioning – Restaurantosaurus and Pizzafari are Quick-Service restaurants that have ample indoor seating. If you need a break from the heat and humidity, these restaurants are a great choice.
- Beverage refills – Restaurantosaurus offers beverage refills. We like to dine here so that we can rehydrate in the air conditioning. The other restaurants charge for refills.
- Amazing Barbecue – Flame Tree Barbecue has incredible food that is part of the Disney Dining Plan. The tables are outside and some dining areas offer great views of Mt. Everest.
- Branch out – Visit one of the restaurants in Africa or Asia to experience different cuisines. Africa has Kusafiri Coffee Shop and Bakery and Tamu Tamu Refreshments. Asia has Mr. Kamal’s, Thirsty River Bar and Trek Snacks and Yak and Yeti Local Food Cafes.
