Do you love trading pins? To make your pin trading experience successful, here are the top 5 places to trade pins at Walt Disney World:
1. Disney Vacation Club booths – Cast Members that work these booths (found both in the resorts and at the parks) wear lanyards with pins. They usually aren’t very busy, so they are able to devote extra time to helping you make a successful trade.
2. Pin Trading Stores and Carts – Find the Cast Members that run the booths and stores that are devoted to pins. Sometimes, guests will purchase expensive pins just to turn around and trade them with the nearest Cast Member. My favorite pin find came from a booth and I was able to score a $12 pin in a trade!
3. Resort Gift Shops – Cast Members that work the gift shops in the resorts wear lanyards. You can usually find 5-10 Cast Members in a gift shop that you can trade pins with!
4. Pin Boards – All resorts have a pin board that contains up to 100 pins. If you don’t see it displayed in your resort’s gift shop or lobby, ask a Cast Member. You can usually only do 1 trade off the board, but most boards have 20-100 pins on it!
You can also find pin boards in select stores in the park and at Guest Relations.
5. Disney Springs – Visit the Disney’s Pin Traders store for inexpensive pins to purchase and an abundance of pins to trade. Plus keep your eyes peeled for Cast Members wearing lanyards in most of the Disney Springs stores.
Don’t miss the specialty Magic Bands available to purchase in the parks.
