I haven’t heard of the Tucker House but it’s something that I think I might add to our wish list if we ever get the chance to go back to Disney again. It looks like something the kids would love! And BTW, we have that same exact Georgia hoodie! lol
How was the food? You sure have been eating alot of cool places….how expensive was it to eat out at these restaruants?
Haven’t done breakfast at AK since they changed it from Donalds Breakfastasaurus. I miss Tusker House the way it used to be. :( Our meal of choice at AK is now Yak & Yeti! We love both the counter service and sitdown sections of this restaurant! YUM!

This was one of my kids favorite Character breakfasts. Though, with reservations, we had to wait over an hour for a table…so at the time, we were not thrilled, but once we got in, it was great!

Aww, I love his jacket. This is one of the few character meals we have not done. It didn’t open till my kids were kind of over character meals. They still like them, but can’t justify the cost if they aren’t that into it. Looks like fun, though!

I’ve never done a character meal. How does it work? Are there lines for the characters (like when you do a breakfast with Santa) or do the kids get to actually spend a little time with them? How is it on the wallet? Just wondering if this is something I should add to my wish list when DH finally lets me take DD to WDW!
We ate here on our trip and it was one of our favorites.

love the food at tusker house. it is one of our favorite restaurants at animal kingdom. we have never been there for breakfast, only lunch. hiw was the food? what did they have on the buffet?

Your posts have put an itch in me! All of your great pictures and seeing how much fun you and your family is having…. I’ve now started planning a trip to Disneyland with my grandkids! I took my granddaughter 3 years ago (she’s 13 now) but my 6-year old grandson hasn’t been there yet so will be so excited! I’m going to try to surprise them similar to how you did, too. The planning alone will be so much fun!
Oh, and by the way, I truly appreciate all of the deals you posted during the holiday season. Most of my gifts were purchased at great discounts AND free shipping – but my credit card melted a bit from all the use. :)

I have the same Mickey jacket! I got it at Kmart on SALE right before we left for DW. My MIL said it was crucial b/c they could find me with the red since I was leading the pack (setting the pace) through the crowds. Love Tusker House.
