Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas party is a separate ticketed event at Disney’s Magic Kingdom each November & December on select nights. There are many magical reasons to attend this event at least once!
Tip: The party kicks off at 7pm (guests without a ticket will have to leave) however, guests with a ticket for event may enter the park as early as 4pm. This essentially gives party goers bonus hours in the park before the party even begins.
2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party Dates:
- November: 8, 11, 12, 14, 15, 17, 19, 21, 22, 24
- December: 1, 3, 5, 6, 8, 10, 12, 13, 15, 17, 19, 20, 22
Cost (2019 prices): Prices start at $99/$94 per person (adult/child) through $139/$134 per person (adult/child). The $99 price is for select nights only and includes a $10 advanced purchase savings. Prices do not include tax.

1. Watch Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration
Mickey’s Most Merriest Celebration is a stage show with Mickey Mouse & Friends. Watch as characters such as: Minnie, Donald, Daisy, Goofy, Pluto, Peter Pan, Alice & the White Rabbit and dance and perform over 12 songs in all. Look to Cinderella’s Castle for holiday illuminations.
2. Browse & Buy Exclusive Party Merchandise
During party nights guests will find exclusive merchandise, perfect for remembering your special night. Past exclusive merchandise has included: an exclusive Magic Band, pin set, apparel for adults & children and more. Photo above shows 2017 exclusive Party merchandise.
3. Eat Unlimited Cookies & Drink Hot Cocoa
At the Christmas Party unlimited cookies and hot chocolate are available for guests. These are available around the park at various locations. Stop as you please for more.
4. See Cinderella’s Castle Transformed
A Frozen Holiday Wish is a stage show featuring Elsa, Anna, Kristoff and Olaf. Watch A Frozen Holiday Wish on stage at Cinderella’s castle and see royal sisters, Anna & Elsa. Queen Elsa will transform the castle into a frozen wonderland.
5. Watch The Christmastime Parade
Once Upon a Christmastime Parade offers 2 showings at the party. Highlights include Gingerbread men, toy soldiers, classic character in their holiday apparel and Santa Claus himself. The second showing is usually less busy.
6. Take In The Holiday Decorations
While Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is taking place, take time to appreciate the extra holiday decorations at the park. Magic Kingdom especially dresses up for the Christmas Season. Take photos in front of the giant Christmas Tree on Main St USA!
7. Meet Rare Characters
Not only are Character meet & greets available, rare characters come out for the party. Rare characters from the past have included the 7 Dwarfs, Jack Sparrow plus Jasmine and the Genie and more. In addition to rare characters, get photos with your favorite pals in their Christmas attire.
8. Exclusive PhotoPass Opportunities
The Christmas party also brings exclusive PhotoPass opportunities, making Memory Maker worth it for your trip! Above shows some fun examples of the exclusive 2018 PhotoPass party pictures. These included: Mickey Mouse Cookie Magic Shot, Candy Cane Magic Shot, Reindeer & Gingerbread Man Magic Shot, Toy Soldier Magic Shot and more!
9. See Snow On Main St USA
Snow and Florida are typically not found in the same sentence. However, snow fall does occur (by the Magic of Disney) on Main St USA during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Be sure to catch the snowfall at least once on Main St USA, happening throughout the evening during the party.
10. New Fireworks Show for 2019
Guests of Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party are in for a treat in 2019, with an all-new fireworks show. Even better, the show can be enjoyed throughout the park! Named, Minnie’s Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks show to be hosted by Minnie Mouse. It will celebrate the magic of Christmas, hear songs such as “Deck the Halls”, “Joy to the World” and more heartfelt music. This is just one of the many exciting entertainment options.
11. Enjoy Short Attraction Lines
In addition to all the party happenings, select favorite attractions are open for guests with shorter than average wait times. Expected open rides include: Astro Orbiter, Big Thunder Mountain, it’s a small world, Pirates of the Caribbean, Princess Fairytale Hall, Seven Dwarfs Mine Train, Splash Mountain, Space Mountain and more.
12. Attraction Enhancements
In addition to shorter than average wait times on select attractions, also enjoy select Magic Kingdom attractions with special enhancements for 2019 Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party dates. This is a party first!
Enhanced attractions for 2019:
- Tomorrowland Speedway – find a festive freeway with decor and thousands of lights!
- Monsters Inc. Laugh Floor – see a new show with holiday cheer.
- Space Mountain – hear holiday tunes and see dazzling lights!
- Mad Tea Party – join the wacky Christmas party with new holiday lights and music.
13. Specialty Food & Drink
In addition to the complimentary treats guests can snack on as they please, there are food and beverage for purchase. Enjoy holiday themed and flavored food & drink at various locations throughout the park.
14. A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas
See A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas stage show several times throughout the evening. This stage show brings out your favorite Tomorrowland friends, past years we have seen Stitch and Mike Wazowski! Come dance and sing for an out of this world party in Tomorrowland.
15. Club Tinsel
Find Club Tinsel inside Cosmic Ray’s Starlights Café for a super fun dance party! This eatery is transformed into a dance club, you may even see Disney characters coming out to dance! Come show off your best moves.
16. Tony’s Most Merriest Town Square Party
This is a ticketed addition to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party. Food and sweets are available for guests beginning at 9:30pm, to enjoy throughout the party as you please at Town Square. Party ends at 12:30am. This is a half hour later than party time (which ends at Midnight)! Furthermore, ticketed guests will enjoy a reserved viewing area to watch Mickey’s Once Upon A Christmastime Parade for 11pm showing. Cost is $99 per guest (+ tax). Valid ticket for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party also required.
