Let the good times roll! Mardi Gras 2020 has started and will go thru April 2, 2020. Just like in New Orlean’s, Mardi Gras at Universal is a good time for all. Themed after the classic festivity in New Orleans it is done with care and attention to detail. The floats are even made by the same Kern family owned company that has been making floats for the parades in New Orleans since 1932. Most nights there is parades. Street performers and authentic Louisiana jazz, blues and zydeco bands are brought in to preform during the event. On select nights (most Saturday and Sundays during the event period) there will be concerts on the Music Plaza stage. Special food booths are set up serving creole and Cajun style dishes. The best part is admission is free with a pack ticket!
