Summer isn’t quite over yet, but as kids are heading back to school and the evenings are cooling off, we are all turning to think of fall, Halloween and warm comfort foods. We should also be thinking of Disneyland and spending time with Disney Villains and seeing the Halloween decorations and enhancements.
Friday the 13th, ohhh, ahhh, scary isn’t it? It’s even scarier at Disneyland with the unleashing of the Disney Villains! Yup, if you visit any Disney park starting Friday the 13th of September, you’ll be able to visit with the villains, if you dare.
The villains have conjured up their own sideshow tent in Frontierland at Big Thunder Ranch. Who do you hope to meet? I think we can all imagine that the most evil and of course most feared villain is Maleficent. At least for me, the evil she exudes still has a grip of fear on me.
The Villains aren’t the only great updates you’ll discover during Halloween Time. Disneyland always brings out some great decorations and ride updates.
Visit the Haunted Mansion which has been taken over by Jack Skellington and his friends from Halloweentown. Also over at Big Thunder Ranch, you can create Halloween crafts and activities. You’ll also find some of your favorite Disney Characters in their Halloween Costumes. Not just the villains.
Venture past Main Street, USA which is decked out with hundreds of hand-carved pumpkins, with no two alike, on your way to Space Mountain. Strap into your rocket and shot off into a haunted section of the universe on Space Mountain Ghost Galaxy. Then drop by Tower of Terror for some ghostly encounters.
We’re not done yet, how bout a ghoulish dance party? Slide over to California Adventure for a Mad T Party dance party. You an also check out an authentic Dia de los Muertos, skeleton display, in Frontierland.
For those of you who want to experience it all, from Villains, Jack Skellingtons Haunted Mansion and the Mad T Party, you may want to sign up for the Disney’s Happiest Haunts Tour. This tour will take you on some ghoulish and lively tours through both parks.
