Space Mountain has been a park staple at Tokyo Disneyland since its 1983 opening. In 2024, Space Mountain at Tokyo Disneyland will close for a major renovation, by 2027 a reimagined Space Mountain will open!
The original indoor coaster concept of this attraction will remain; however, guests will find more immersive special effects and story enhancements with a focus of Earth and universe connection. Also by 2027 guests will find a new area with seating, design elements a new plaza in Tomorrowland and more.
