New! Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party Update: Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is officially SOLD OUT for Saturday, October 31. Tickets are still available for:
- September 15, 18, 20, 22, 25 and 27
- October 1, 2, 4, 6, 8, 9, 12, 13, 15, 16, 18, 20, 22, 23, 25, 27, and 29
- November 1
New! Magic Kingdom Park Hours Extended Aug 15: Magic Kingdom Park will open one hour earlier than previously planned on Saturday, August 15, 2015. The park will open at 8:00 am.
Reminder! Breakfast to Continue at Be Our Guest Restaurant: Originally introduced as a test, breakfast is now a permanent offering in Beast’s Castle in the Be Our Guest Restaurant. Reservations can be made starting on August 5 for dates October 4 and beyond. Effective Oct 4th, the price will be $21.99 plus tax for adults and $13.99 plus tax for children ages 3-9 years. Due to popularity of Be Our Guest restaurant, reservations are strongly recommended.
Reminder! Snow White and Mary Poppins Character Meetings: Now through Aug 19th, Snow White and Mary Poppins will appear in the West Plaza Gardens. They will appear here periodically and may also still use their former meeting locations too.
Reminder! Adjusted times for Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! Street Party: Due to work on Main Street, U.S.A, Move It! Shake It! Dance & Play It! will be presented at 12:30 and 5:40 p.m. on the following dates: August 3, Aug 4, Aug 10, Aug 11 and Aug 31. Also during these dates, the Main Street Trolley Show will use the Main Street Fire Truck.

Reminder! Garden Grill to Serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner This Fall: Starting Nov. 8, Guests can enjoy Character dining at Garden Grill all day long. Served family style and all-you-care-to-enjoy, the menus for breakfast, lunch and dinner are inspired by the garden-grown theme of The Land. What’s on the menu? Look for breakfast favorites like biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, crispy bacon, Mickey waffles, and their signature item, Chip’s Sticky Bun Bake. At lunch, look for your all-you-care-to-enjoy favorites from the dinner menu, like “Living with the Land” Harvest-inspired Farmer’s Salad, which uses greens from the attraction, and more!
Disney’s Hollywood Studios
New! Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine: Celebrate the holiday season with Minnie Mouse as she hosts a festive dinner with her friends Mickey Mouse, Donald Duck, Daisy Duck and special guest—Santa Goofy. Holiday-themed décor, food, music and activities make Hollywood & Vine the perfect place to deck the halls with family and friends. Reservations are now open for Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine—a new dining experience taking place at Disney’s Hollywood Studios on select dates between November 7, 2014 and January 3, 2015. Cost is $46.99 for adults, $27.99 for children or counts as one table-service entitlement on the Disney Dining Plan. Fantasmic! dining is also available with Minnie’s Holiday Dine at Hollywood & Vine and is $52.99 for adults and $31.99 for children (plus tax and gratuity).
Reminder! ‘Frozen Summer Fun’ Cupcakes Still Available: On Wednesday, June 17, Disney’s Hollywood Studios debuted three Frozen-themed specialty cupcakes! Anna’s cupcake is made out of chocolate buttercream, Elsa’s cupcake is made out of vanilla buttercream and Olaf’s cupcake is made out of carrot cake with cream cheese icing. These treats will be available at the following locations: ABC Commissary, FairFax Fare, Backlot Express, Studio Catering Co., Pizza Planet, Starring Rolls, Rosie’s All American Café, and The Trolley Car Café. The cupcakes are included in Disney Dining Plan, and all “Frozen” specialty cupcakes will be available through Sept. 7
Disney’s Animal Kingdom
New! Allergy Kiosk Temporarily Closed: The Discovery Island kiosk (sometimes called the Allergy kiosk) will be closed Aug 12 – Sep 2. The allergy-friendly options normally offered at the kiosk will not be offered in the park while the location is closed.
New! Pizzafari to Close Temporarily: Pizzafari will be temporarily closed beginning Aug 23. The menu items served there will not be available during the closure. It is expected to reopen in late fall.
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels
New! Mickey’s Backyard BBQ to Offer Additional Days: Mickey’s Backyard BBQ will be offered on select Wednesdays in the Fall. The Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday shows will also still be offered. The new dates are subject to change, but they are available for booking at this time. Shows in September and October will be at 6:30pm. In November, shows will be at 5:30pm. New Show dates are: Sept 16 and 23; Oct 7, 14, 21 and 28; Nov 4, 11 and 18.
New! Cupcake of the Month at Contempo Cafe: The Cupcake of the Month at Contempo Cafe is Apple Butter Rum Cupcake, which is a vanilla cupcake with butter apple run filling and caramel frosting. It’s garnished with streusel, drizzled with caramel and topped with caramel corn.
Reminder! Flying Fish Restaurant Refurbishment in 2016: Flying Fish Cafe at Disney’s BoardWalk Resort will undergo refurbishment from February 2016 through Fall 2016. The restaurant will be closed during this time.

New! Shop Disney Parks Mobile App Coming Soon: Shop Disney Parks, a free mobile app will launch soon allowing guests to find, buy and ship merchandise offered at Disney-operated retail stores across Walt Disney World. The app will be available for both Apple and Android devices.
Reminder! Merchandise Change at Marketplace Fun Finds: Marketplace Fun Finds now carries Disney Junior and Duffy the Disney Bear merchandise. Favorite Disney Junior characters include Sofia the First, Doc McStuffins and Pirate Jake. Duffy the Disney Bear is a beloved plush bear who belongs to Mickey Mouse himself.
Merchandise Events
New! New MagicBands and Accessories Coming Soon: Several new retail MagicBands and accessories are on their way to Walt Disney World. Per the Disney Parks Blog, the open edition retail MagicBands featuring Steamboat Willie and characters from Disney•Pixar’s “Finding Nemo” are currently available in select merchandise locations. On August 14, we will release two additional open edition retail MagicBands. One will have Winnie the Pooh while the other MagicBand will feature Jack Skellington from Tim Burton’s “The Nightmare Before Christmas.” Open edition retail MagicBands have a retail of $19.95 each. Like all other retail MagicBands, these open edition items can be linked later. Later this month, three additional open edition retail MagicBands for Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom will be released. New attraction-themed sliders are coming soon too. These small rectangular images easily slide onto the side of a MagicBand. There are three attraction sliders per MagicSlider pack. Look for three different packs of Magic Kingdom Park attractions, and two packs each for attractions at Epcot, Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disney’s Animal Kingdom. Each pack has a retail of $6.95.
