Walt Disney World officially turned 50 yEars on October 1, 2021, with the original opening taking place on Oct. 1, 1971. Disney World kicked off “The World’s Most Magical Celebration” to celebrate their 50th Anniversary on Oct. 1, 2021. Today, we are letting you know how long you have left to visit during Disney Worlds 50th Anniversary celebration!

Minnie and Mickey Mouse are sporting their new sparkly celebration outfits! Be sure to catch the new Mickey’s Celebration Cavalcade to see Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck and Daisy Duck, Goofy and Pluto, and Chip ‘n’ Dale in their 50th Anniversary EARidescent looks as they travel through Magic Kingdom Park several times a day.

Cinderella Castle at Magic Kingdom Park has received an EARidescent embellishment, shimmering pearls on the turrets and towers, jewels and ribbons in hues of royal blue and iridescent gold. Stay until dark to see Cinderella Castle transforms into one of the shining Beacons of Magic. In fact, all 4 park icons at all Disney World theme parks will transform in the evening.

When Does Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration End?
Now, onto the original question, When Does Disney World’s 50th Anniversary Celebration End? The celebration began on October 1, 2021 and will last for 18 months. Disney World has said it will continue until March 2023! While no exact end date has been confirmed, 18-months after Oct. 1, 2021 is April 1, 2023. Therefore, you still have plenty of time to soak up the 50th anniversary celebration at Disney World!
